🔴 BREAKING: An ICE agent has shot and killed a woman in Minneapolis during a federal immigration enforcement operation. Federal officials claim the woman was driving a vehicle that moved toward agents, prompting an officer to open fire, AP reports.

Witnesses at the scene have disputed that account. Bystanders told reporters that the vehicle was either stopped or moving slowly and questioned whether the woman posed an immediate threat when she was shot, contradicting federal claims that agents were in danger.

The shooting occurred amid a broader federal immigration crackdown, with thousands of federal agents deployed across the Twin Cities region. The incident sparked protests at the scene and drew condemnation from local officials, including the mayor, who called for federal agents to leave the city.

Additional witness video raises further concerns about what happened after the shooting. In footage circulating online, a man identifying himself as a physician attempts to approach the vehicle to provide medical assistance, repeatedly stating that the woman is bleeding and that someone medically trained needs to intervene. Agents are seen pointing weapons at him and ordering him to back away, preventing aid while the woman remained inside the car and died, as medics arrived later.

Authorities have not released body-camera footage or publicly addressed these witness accounts.
