@Cub4Kdub@hyunesclover Again you'd do a better job at rehabilitating his reputation if you focused on his music instead of trying to debate what happened six years ago. Either he was fired for cause or he left in the middle of a comeback and caused the team a lot of stress. Move on, we have
@Cub4Kdub@hyunesclover and honestly if you like Woojin you're not doing him any favors by trying to defend him to Stays. He makes good music but made some really bad choices in how he chose to present his case. The more distance btwn him and his former connection to SKZ the better for his career tbh
@Cub4Kdub@hyunesclover All those accusations came like a year later and those were disproven. KStays said he was caught going to hostess bars which isn't that big a deal in the west but is on all jype employee contracts, not just an idol rule, the problem was jeopardizing the team in that way
@longboyjisung Anyway I was only paying attention to their music at first and didn't follow the social media so thank you so much whoever those ambassador lyOns doing the twitter space panel were bc then I was able to learn the names and lore and was so excited for the libido premiere
@longboyjisung I liked their songs but started really paying attention during the Produced by [ ] Pt 1 era. Then during Instinct Pt 1 teasers someone did a twitter space to introduce them to new fans, we didn't even have a fandom name yet I don't think
@lk_liz_saurus@hyunesclover I wasn't on stantwt as much back then so I'm unsure. I read on reddit that kstays said he had broken a specific company wide rule and everyone noticed the stress of re-recording and redoing choreography in the middle of comeback prep, so "8 is fate" caught on pretty fast
The bit about not expecting it to be good because he didn't like the BTS song he heard on the radio reminded me about how armys were upset with the Stray Kids AMA performance because they thought it made Korean music look bad
The truth is even *trot* is by definition "westernized" or more accurately "heavily influenced by Black culture." As is literally all pop music around the planet
@brittdeanna These people who weren't able to smuggle in their goods are idiots but I had no idea there were this many people who had never heard of a Pax which are in fact as expensive as a concert ticket
