@WallStreetMav Married to my husband 42 years now. I read this and showed it to him. Asked: true? Uh-huh. Then which are you? Depends, he says. Well played, dear. Well played. 🥰
Yes. Grandparent of 3 with doctorate working in public Ed. I love learning but for a purpose. Grandaddy is a commercial pilot with bachelors in agriculture. We were actually talking about this on our walk this morning. If colleges want to redeem themselves, turn back to college educating toward a trade - it used to be a little of both and now it’s mostly for… well, perhaps this is where I stop.
@DerrickEvans4WV Relish every moment you spend in the car together. Especially during those tough middle years. Kids talk about amazing things when given the chance with no devices to distract them. Some of the best talks were those on the road. Treasure those!
41 years married.
Faith in God gives us our common foundation.
Always working hard to work as a team. Laughing together.
Respect for each other equally. Commitment when it gets tough. Compliment and thank each other often. As you get older, you can really appreciate what your partner (love of your life, hopefully) brings to the world by seeing that person more than you look at yourself.

@Sassafrass_84 I have three in my kitchen. One has cutting boards, one has cookie sheets and one has flat gift type bags that I use for food gifts, sending home leftovers with friends and grocery type foldable bags. That third one in use the most! Or almost the most :)
