A second part of my #HollowKnight#Silksong critique: https://t.co/PkP1RfHkA8
This time around, we tackle many different topics: the game's sound design, OST, enemies, bosses, difficulty, and a few truly bizarre arguments I've seen surrounding Team Cherry's latest game.
@namajeff8@Scribe_Light If Homelander in the final episode farted a lightsaber out of his ass, then flied into space and cut the Earth in half and said I get it, I was The Boys all along you would be fine with it?
"It's a show with superpowers so who cares" is the dumbest defence ever for dumb idiots
Charlie makes great content, but every now and then he’ll put out a stinker like this one. He makes a few points that I agree with, but other than that, he just shows a lack of media literacy that’s so many online are giving off about this show. Jesus Christ man…😒
#TheBoys
Eric Kripke says he is really hoping that fans enjoy ‘THE BOYS’ series finale.
“It’s super hard to do a finale. Fans will retroactively judge the show based on how they feel about the finale. If we stiff it, they will definitely say, ‘Well, that show wasn’t as good as we thought it was.’ And it’s almost like you’re trying to secure your legacy with these finales.”

The real truth is that most shows that end badly aren't that good to begin with or fell off long before the final season. Stanger Things didn't have a bad final season, it was bad since season 2. Game of Thrones fell off after Season 4.
In The Boys case, only season 1 was good
The Boys is a bad show. One good season. One alright one. Then it collapses.
Butcher being the final villain should’ve been a season long arc. Hughie putting all he learned to heartbreakingly bring his friend/mentor down.
Its problems are seasons old. Fatal problems. Oh well.
@CommanderSpeer@ClassyDuckFan@Pedanti_Cat This is something we have known from Season 1. OMG guys Butcher is ready to do whtever it takes, something he has done qll the time.
Season 2 starts with Hughie being depressed due to Butcher's influence. It's the same arc every goddamn season.
I really loved it, so I made a detailed critique of #Silksong. There's also a response to Joseph Anderson's comments about the game's $20 price sprinkled in between the analysis.

@The_Epic_Mike Haven't seen it yet, but people have claimed that episodes 1, 8, 9 from th first season were great too, and they were not. Is it even worth trusting Born Again writers at this point?
@BareEverything@FavourAghatise@paloma_datgirl Not really though. I don't agree with the guy above, but Sage mode Naruto lost to Pain, 9 tails saved him. Naruto had a big advantage with Deva being on KD. Once deva came online, Naruto lost
