Sometimes I think.. it might be nice to have a 9 to 5 Kind of job where no one is screaming/Dying and where missing something doesn’t make you feel like an incompetent moron. #resilience ?
5yo patient pointed at the med student in the room with me and asked me if she was my mother. Med student did not look impressed. 5yos ask the best questions.
Some thoughts on #DFTB18 and why I think balance, as well as content, is vital for a successful event. Something the @DFTBubbles team seem to have nailed

As someone all too familiar with the internal dialogue, imposter syndrome and broken vases I want to, like a sponge, absorb #DFTB18’s @ffolliet’s last message: How do we repair ? With an ethos of honesty, of improving performance, and changing wtf to what was the frame.
At #DFTB18, learning that there is a responsibility not only to the patient in front of you but to all those who come subsequently - I can be an ardent advocate like @doctorwozza and tell people no quad bikes pls.
I love the fact that Paeds training is all about being play therapists at heart and we can never have too much Drseuss at #DFT18. Thanks for an amazing D2.
