I'm still on academic listservs and COLLEGES 😤 the amt of time it takes to apply to adjunct work is not it. just clicked on one that asked for prob 8-10 hours to apply for teaching a class that pays 3-4K for 1 semester. i'd predict 200 applicants too. 🥲everything is broken

If you're an aspiring writer finding repeated difficulty in your defined success (finishing a book, writing a query, landing an agent/deal, etc.) then in my years of teaching I found it's usually 1 of 2 things: you need help with the actual writing part OR the storytelling part

Acknowledge which area of yours needs improvement (often the hardest part) and make a plan to improve. Craft books, writing partners, self-challenges, etc. there are many options as long as you're willing to work on it. Information is EVERYWHERE online/in the library
