RIP Henry Halliday. Pioneering neonatologist, mentor and inspiration to many. He leaves an incredible legacy of improved premature neonatal care and survival.
Also- an uncompromising rugby player well in to his 40s.

BAPM was very sad to learn that Professor Henry Halliday has died. Professor Halliday was an honorary member of BAPM for his outstanding contribution to neonatology.

@WhistlingDixie4 Ours don’t do nights as they go on a separate on call rota with the fy1 and then our ACCS trainees/Anaesthetics SHOs/stage 1 ICM trainees who have IAC go on a slightly different rota that include nights but slightly fewer weekends.
Congratulations to Dr Brian Halliday, consultant cardiologist at Royal Brompton Hospital, who has been awarded £250,000 for his heart failure remission trial from the British Heart Foundation.
