Fun fact.

In Viana do Castelo, Portugal, over 1000 women parade wearing more than 2kg (4.4lbs) per woman of traditional gold estimated at up to €296 million (approx. $346 million).

This extraordinary event is the Desfile da Mordomia (Stewardship Parade), the most iconic highlight of the Romaria d'Agonia festival held every August in Viana do Castelo, Portugal.
