Models: new feature. Create your own groups (audiences) to send mass messages to. They can be very robust. In this is example, it’s people who have joined at least 3 of your live shows but have only tipped you less than $100. And it can get much more complex. The groups show up when you create a mass message on the site or iPhone app. Look for the new Audience link on the messages page.

Here's what's going on, so there isn't any speculation. I tried to add an index last night to the database that would speed up payroll. There wasn't enough room on the server for that index, and the system slowed to a crawl and eventually crashed, bringing down the database. We are working on getting everything back up. Right now, subscriptions are disabled until that database is fully functional. (so people aren't charged and then their subscriptions isn't saved)
Yes, this is a total clusterfuck. And this index just would have sped things up for me on the backend, and had nothing to do with your experience of the site. And it ended up bringing the site down.
I am so sorry, and I am working on it.

Something is wrong with the Twitter API (shock), so Twitter logins aren't working. We are not sure if this affects our auto-tweets yet or not.
There is a link on the login page to get a one-time login link emailed to you. You can use your email address or JFF username to get that, in case you don't remember what email is on your account.
And you can use the Manual Tweet feature (in the ... menu of a post) to have us create a Tweet that you post yourself.
Fingers crossed this magically goes away and gets fixed by Twitter soon.
