@JustinMacmahan You didnt mention that England was not creative enough to score. Their skill level is abysmal. Panama vs Croatia has much more intensity and desire and perhaps even skill.
There are plenty enough athletes in our country to produces competitive teams in all sports. We are not because our training system is awful. Its the most popular sport with youth, but 95% are driven out by high school because of cost or selection process that emphasize winning over development.
There is no distinction between what Jesus said and what Paul said. Its X all God's word. What is written in the Gospels about Jesus is a miniscule fraction of what he taught. Its been distilled down to what is most important. What Paul wrote is just as important because God gave it all to us.
@JustinMacmahan The problem is the 5 knockout wins in a row against the better teams. Im not sure England is one of them, but they will be tough to beat.
Right. If I'm not Catholic I am hellbound. I am not so evil as you. I think that in spite of the fact that you are in error in many ways, you are not licked out. In spite of my many errors in belief, I am not locked out. None of us have everything right. None of us ever will until we are with God in heaven. I think I might see you there. You know you wont see me because what you see as important, I don't. Peter doesnt need to be infallible. Mary does not have to be a perpetual. The bread and wine dont have to be body and blood. If that is what you think, have at it. They are not show stoppers. You think they are. Thats unfortunate.
@iam_biglad1 If you employed by a company, the money you get is theirs, not yours. Thats how it work in any economic system. Socialism would probably take more
No. Today's Catholics are not necessarily yesterday's Catholics. You would have to prove Peter wore a funny hat, that Peter was infallible when its blatantly obvious he wasnt, unless you deny scripture. Numerous other things that dont make sense have v to be traced back to Peter's Church. Cant be done
@HabitualLinest I dont admit that my claim is false. Im convinced its true, but no matter how it got there it has primacy, not the Church. That doesnt negate the value of the Church, but it puts it in secon place. I also am not sure its a show stopper.
Thats not true. That's why we keep studying it. Since you think the Church is infallible it is sufficient to leave the Bible on the shelf and believe what the church tells you. No need to read it, much less study it. Protestants are more sensitive to their fallibility than Catholics because they dont have an infallible church to guide them.
Who cares who cannonized it? What matters is what it says, not what you say. It say nothing about anyone being infallible. Therefore nobody is. To consider a human as incapable of error is absurd. Beyond absurd, actually. As i say, to you, only the church has authority, the Bible has none. It only means what the fallible church says it means.
