@EricFlaningam You should add FluidStack to AI clouds. Installing largest cluster in Europe for Mistral and serving other major players like Poolside or Blackforest.
AI data centers will transform commercial real estate, not just for massive funds like Blackstone but for ordinary developers. Let me explain using the example of the France-UAE 1-GW AI data center deal and Fluidstack’s €10 billion AI supercomputer.
How big is 1 GW?
Enough to power 1 million homes.
Equivalent to a full-scale nuclear power plant.
Larger than San Francisco’s total energy consumption.
Why does this matter for real estate?
1️⃣ Industrial real estate will see higher demand. AI data centers need semiconductor fabs, cold storage, and logistics hubs. Investors should track industrial development near AI infrastructure zones.
2️⃣ Energy infrastructure expansion will impact commercial properties. Power grid upgrades will create higher land values and rezoning opportunities in key AI corridors.
3️⃣ Office and retail will follow AI workforce growth. AI supercomputing hubs will increase demand for office space and supporting retail infrastructure.
4️⃣ Land values near AI development zones will appreciate. Investors should monitor land banking opportunities.
AI data centers aren’t just about computing—they are reshaping commercial real estate demand across multiple sectors.
Even in Chicagoland, we are already out in the market, exploring opportunities near major data centers and quantum computing sites.
If you would like to chat how AI and Quantum will shape your Chicagoland real estate portfolio, send me a DM :)
We are excited to announce Fluidstack's partnership with the French Ministry of the Economy to build a 1GW nuclear-powered AI cluster in France.
We will deploy 500k+ GPUs to begin, and will continue to scale this cluster into one of the largest AI clusters on the planet.
🚀 And the award for the boldest statement at the AI Action Summit goes to @fluidstack
💥 250 megawatts

Game-changing ambition! Kudos to @CesarMaklary & @garywu, with a special shoutout to @stephane_fisch
FRANCE BETS ON NUCLEAR TO LEAD IN AI COMPUTING: WSJ
President Macron is dedicating 1 gigawatt of nuclear power to build one of the world’s largest AI training facilities, led by FluidStack. With plans to power 120,000 Nvidia AI chips by 2026 and expand to 10 GW by 2030, the project aims to rival U.S. initiatives like Stargate. Backed by France’s surplus nuclear energy, the move could shift the AI race toward Europe.

@gurgavin Not sure how that’s relevant. X shares are not tradable in secondary market so there’s no reliable valuation / evolution of it. Meanwhile SpaceX’ valuation is up over 20% based on tenders and has been increasing steadily over the past years.
@munster_gene Most people outside of industry insiders do not understand the value dry powder at Apple. Apart from Nvidia, Apple has the best chips. They just don’t sell them to anyone. Powerful vertical. Compute power is the heart of the game.
@business Bloomberg earlier reported that Twitter was estimated to be worth half of what Elon Musk paid. So $44bn became $22bn, minus up to $20bn now. Right. 🤡🤡🤡
