@karaswisher Every time I see a crappy ad I take the time to block the account. I think what he's saying is that turning the app into whack-a-mole is taking more time to engage with the same volume of (increasingly questionable) tweets. Maybe true but not a good user satisfaction metric.

I saw 2 off duty MPD & a security guard last time I was at Target. Seems like plenty to handle the random asshole making a scene if what Target is saying is to be believed.

@scttdvd I kind of wondered the same thing last year - seems like there were just a few motorcycles dealing with closing streets ahead of the procession. Would a permit require paying police to block off streets, etc? I assume nobody wants to do that. Or has the money to do that?
