If you are interested in administrative law or energy, you won’t want to miss this! A great panel on Monday at Crowell in DC discussing recent and upcoming Supreme Court cases with significance to the energy industry. Hope to see you there! https://t.co/hgqmov1DLW
@AHoweBlogger—any chance you might be interested in serving as the moderator on a panel I’m organizing for the ABA’s Women in Litigation conference about the Supreme Court? Let me know, we’d love to have you!

Curious what is going on right now with DEI initiatives and how the law is (or isn’t) changing? I’m moderating an important & timely webinar tomorrow that you won’t want to miss. Register here: https://t.co/xcYXDh4El2
I feel like El*n Mu*k’s offer to give registered voters a chance to win $1 million belongs on a Contracts final. Is it a unilateral offer? What could the damages possibly be? Is it void as unconscionable / unlawful? A lot to think about! 😂 Watch out, law students!
I did not know I was going to get an @ABALitigation shoutout for this, but it is all true! If #AppellateTwitter is (or was) your thing, the Appellate Practice Committee might be the committee for you.
With nearly 30,000 members, the ABA Litigation Section may seem daunting, but our 34 open enrollment committees give you the opportunity to connect with other members in your practice area. Check out our committees today: https://t.co/dRsTGLZhcw. #MembershipMonday
Okay, taking a break from professional / law twitter and looking for new-mom twitter. I am due in December with a girl (exciting!) and we need nursery furniture and don’t have time/energy to go sit on a bunch of nursery gliders/rockers. Any personal recommendations?
Attending my first @ABALitigation Leadership Conference. Thrilled to be a new leader in such a great organization. If you are here, I would love to meet you!
Monday, TikTok and
content creators argued before the D.C. Circuit that Congress cannot constitutionally ban TikTok in the U.S. Tonight (at 9 PM Eastern), join me for a webinar on that oral argument and TikTok’s legal battle! Register here: https://t.co/gSMLSQWqJ1
@Lawl_Assoc If you don’t have your judge’s permission, I recommend avoiding identifying the case. But you can speak in the abstract, e.g., there was a case where I helped figure out a difficult issue that was later affirmed on appeal and I am proud of/I learned certain things from that.
Actual appointment was a breeze. And the side effects haven’t been bad. (Our location had Moderna.) The pharmacist said he thought demand would pick up in the next couple of weeks so get your shot soon!
I wish someone told me before I started law school:
1. Your grades in law school will not define your legal career. Lawyers who make Bs and Cs are still lawyers.
2. Be respectful and make friends with your classmates. Reputation matters.
What do you wish you’d been told?
