Can somebody please explain why hospital credentialing is the most painful, time consuming, inefficient thing of all time? How can it take almost a year to get credentialed at a hospital? It’s actually comical.

It’s SHOCKING how many pregnant women come into L&D and ask me how they’re going to pee after a cervical balloon placement. You’re about to birth a whole human and didn’t realize your urethra and vagina are separate? 🤦🏾♀️
Knowing that you urinate from your urethra & not from your vagina should be as common knowledge as having two eyeballs. Sexual health is health. Our sexual health education in this country is a disgrace.
Out of all the OBGYN sub specialties REI has the widest range of gender identities in their patient population. We can’t forget that gender affirming care extends beyond the exam room.
Friendly reminder that females aren’t the only people who menstruate. I saw a sign in the bathroom at an REI office addressed to “female patients and staff” with instructions on proper disposal of menstrual products.
Needed to workout but had zero energy. Drank a Celsius hoping that would help. Now I have zero motivation but also 200mg of caffeine in my system at 10:15 PM.
