A valuable visit to the @gnkdinamo Academy last week 🇭🇷

Two days covering key themes across the academy, from philosophy, game model and training methodology to scouting, performance analysis and physical development. A clear and aligned approach to developing players across all age groups.

The standout was the on-pitch Masterclass, with live sessions and real-time explanation clearly linking training design to the game model and player development. Seeing the “why” behind sessions delivered directly on the pitch, supported by live communication, brought a new level of clarity and practical insight.

A strong example of how to connect theory to practice in an elite academy environment 👏

“I really enjoy Dinamo, I play almost every minute. Honestly, last summer I knew I was going to leave Barcelona, whether it was on loan or through a transfer. I was open to new options. They asked me if I was interested in coming to Dinamo, and it seemed like a good opportunity. Everything was agreed quite quickly, we agreed everything in four days.”

Sergi Dominguez on if he asked Dani Olmo for advice:

“Yes, I asked him for advice, considering that he is someone who has already lived there. He advised me to come, he said that the HNL is a good league for growth and that the league is getting better. He really praised both Dinamo and the HNL.”

Iskusni španjolski stručnjak Albert Capellas novi je član Dinamove obitelji i preuzima dužnost direktora nogometa i voditelja programa razvoja mlađih uzrasta 🦁⚽️💙

U Maksimir dolazi nakon gotovo 35 godina trenerskog rada pri čemu je prošao gotovo sve faze unutar nogometne piramide: od uloge kondicijskog trenera, rada s mlađim uzrastima, voditelja akademije, trenera prve momčadi, a naposljetku i izbornika. Značajan dio svog radnog opusa proveo je u Barceloni u kojoj je u dva mandata povezao 12 godina.

🗣️ Zadovoljstvo mi je biti dio projekta stvaranja velike Dinamove budućnosti. Kad me nazvao Zvonimir Boban i kad sam osjetio s kakvim zanosom priča o cijeloj ideji, odmah sam, u tom prvom kontaktu, shvatio da želim biti dio tog projekta. Imam veliko međunarodno nogometno iskustvo, ali logično da je moj nogometni kod, Barcelonin nogometni kod. Radio sam po cijelom svijetu i nadam se da ću pomoći klubu postići zacrtane ciljeve u sljedećim godinama, stvoriti bazu na kojoj će stasati nove generacije. Volim surađivati sa svima, pomagati igračima, inspirirati trenere, volim kad dijelimo zajedničku viziju i kad smo posvećeni istom cilju, u ovom slučaju - Dinamovom cilju. Volim kad govorimo “mi”, a ne “ja”, jer radimo zajedno, slijedimo iste ciljeve i snove. Kad dođete u ovaj klub osjetite nešto posebno. Ovaj klub jednostavno ima posebnu klasu i poseban identitet. I tu vidim puno sličnosti sa svojom Barcelonom - naglasio je direktor Capellas.
