Sometimes I do some science. Sometimes I travel the world. Usually I watch TV. And now I make a podcast about 90s movies: @SWYMcast

People see you smiling at your phone and assume you're talking to a boy but sometimes you are just quietly chuckling at a joke about Yoyo Ma.

[Jessica W @jfrancesw]

@koralinadean Not to mention he played Criss Chros on 30 Rock, which had the perfect excuse.

[Jessica W @jfrancesw]

I legitimately just bought 27 dollar tickets that had a 28.50 fee.

[Kevin Finnerty @timeimmemorial_]

Ticketmaster when you try to buy a ticket for $59

[Jessica W @jfrancesw]

@samanthahope199 @mikeyLuna4 @sarahschauer I hate this so much.

[Jessica W @jfrancesw]

@its_liquorice Right?? It's Riverdale. And I think I pinpointed why I hate it. Wednesday. Talks. So. Much. Movie Wednesday rules is because she's savage with so few words. And how do you make Gomez and Morticia boring? Character assassination. But as someone else mentioned, Gwendoline Christie.

Last night,@Icelandair cancelled my flight (the plane was not safe, so fair) however the communication and customer service (both at the airport and on the phone) was the worst I have ever experienced. Still don't know where I'm going today and if I'll make it to my destination.

[Jessica W @jfrancesw]

@ajlobster Clearly I am thinking of someone very specific in my own life. "You're so lucky you're single!". Is it luck, though?

[Jessica W @jfrancesw]

@ajlobster Because on one hand, you don't want to discourage women from making that discovery for themselves, the rationale implies that women do not have their own agency. Specifically, when this narrative comes from women of privilege (I.e. white, firmly middle class).

[Jessica W @jfrancesw]

@MarkLazerus Feeling this as I submit a conference registration with "low sodium" in the dietary restrictions. When did I fall apart?!?!

[Jessica W @jfrancesw]

Meanwhile, every European airline I booked with had the same price, every day, since I started planning months ago.

I do not know how North American airlines are legal.

Also the same flight, on the same craft with the same crew going the other way on the same day is half price.

[Jessica W @jfrancesw]

@westjet waited exactly 1 hour past the 24 hour grace period window for changes to drop the price of my flight by almost 150 dollars.
After increasing it over 200 dollars from 2 days before, and me booking thinking it would only go up fro. There (travel in about 5 weeks). 1/2

@95Sports Luckily this isn't my primary bank, just one I have a Visa with (from a work promo).

[Jessica W @jfrancesw]

I spent a total of 4 hours on hold with @RBC so I could report fraudulent charges on my card (something you can't do online or app), and finally gave up and requested a call back appointment today only to be transferred to the exact same menu to be on hold again. 😣😣😣😣😣

[Jessica W @jfrancesw]

@95Sports Thanks 🤞🏻🤞🏻

[Jessica W @jfrancesw]

@95Sports @RBC I currently am sick at home with the covid 😭 Just amazing luck all around this week.

[Jessica W @jfrancesw]

@BCFerries I don't know how your parking availability is measured at Tsawassen but it said 70% available but was clearly overfull, with no signs so I and a lot of other people drove in circles and missed the ferry in stead of being able to figure out an alternative.

836 days late, and worth the 836 day wait. #BelindasDirty30 @dadwroteaporno

@HockeyBroad I need some sample sizes on each of these groups because how are old men the voice of reason?
