If applied evenly, these fertile, idyllic and memory-infused lands will attain a new legacy of emptiness, devoid of culture and in a sense sterile

Our ancestors were as much eco-stewards as cultural wardens. Without a direct interface, both knowledge and physical remnants are already as good as gone

In other words there is no museum to house, and no glass through which to view, an ethnic lifeworld. It can only be lived - else it's pure nostalgia or Hiraeth
