To be fair, since the beginning of the year, he’s been explicitly clear on how he’s going to reduce the deficit. The bond market is telling a different story, and rightfully so based on the current funding deficit. But if you’ve listened to any of his past public commentaries, you’ll know exactly where he is focusing his efforts. Minnesota hasn’t been in the news lately, but expect that to be the groundwork for 2027 budget control framework…..he will be targeting waste, fraud and abuse at the state levels….
