Honestly didn't think I would enjoy that documentary, but I found it so interesting and it really opened my mind listening to the stories and perspectives of all these women, whether mother's or children of rape

I haven't really thought much about the abnormalities that can come from these situations. It's so sad because it is never the child's fault and it is so sad that she grew up throughout her whole life with all of her disabilities AND knowing that her mother never wanted her

Wow. One woman's mother was raped and didn't want her so she drank antifreeze and drain cleaner for 9 months to try to kill the fetus, but they both survived and the child was born with cancer in her which she later had to get removed and 150 surgeries throughout her life.

People assume that women would be better off getting an abortion than having the child conceived from rape, but all of these women are speaking so positively of having the child and the one woman who spoke who had an abortion says she will always regret it even 50 years later

"My biological father is a rapist...but I am still a human being and I still have value and my life isn't worth less than yours just because of the way I was conceived and I don't believe I deserve the death penalty because of the crime of my biological father"

Even though I've seen all the statistics about how many women go through rape-related pregnancies, it's still crazy to listen to all these stories and know that all these women went through this because it usually isn't something that is spoken about so openly

All of these women are so grateful for the children they had because of the hope they gave them after experiencing such the trauma of rape

This is all about the stories of women who became pregnant from rape and children who had been conceived from rape
