No, Kim Namjoon isn't [ just ] best leader nor entitled to artificial K-pop world just because he's Korean. The main truth is he sacrificed his solo career when it was rising, where he could have risen in mainly as one of the greatest rappers in this generation on the global level. Not that he isn't now, BUT Namjoon had to compromise his hip hop roots for the advantage of pop sound that carried the group in the image of idolised industry which lead to sliding rapline and never putting their full potential as it was required. That's a lot of narrow-minded solos that don't understand. He gave a lot of his pen game, which he could have kept for himself, but he didn't. He literally has the best individual work musically and lyrically, which need to reach his own audience as depending on specific group of people that perfer the pop sound won't help, maybe that's my only take on him. Also, everyone needs to stop saying that Namjoon doesn't care about charts. HE CARES, he wants to see his work being appreciated and valued.
