I’ve really come around the idea of Detroit fleecing a team for a few younger pieces and a high draft pick, but one of the pieces they get back needs to a minimum be a 2C. I don’t care how much young talent we get back, we can’t be in a position where we don’t have a 1C and a 2C

I’m not familiar with FFP and PSR, but this is just the reality of big clubs/markets vs small clubs/markets. The bigger the name/market the more likely they are to be able to afford the big names and afford the big names. It’s just the reality of all pro sports across the world

Gathje, much like Strickland, can stand toe to toe with anyone and won’t be knocked out. To beat them (which really shouldn’t be a mystery at this point because it happened fairly regularly) you need an adequate standing game to keep them honest, but must excel on the ground
