In continuation to my earlier tweets wherein it has been amply clarified that my brother Cdr Purnendu Tiwary has nothing to do with the Financial irregularities of the company. It is the owner of the company who is solely responsible for Company's Finances and other contractual obligations and hence the owner should be made accountable with any irregularity related to it's Finances. Despite all the clarifications given in this regards my brother is still languishing in jail since last one month for no fault of his. It may be recalled that Pardon was given to all the 8 Navy veterans by H.H. Emir of Qatar, but thanks to the MEA, who on account of travel ban imposed on my brother at that point in time without going into the merits/details of the case chose to leave him behind, while helping the other 7 veterans return back to India after the pardon around two years ago. Now, my brother has been dragged after a year into another case stitched, out of 1st one (where pardon was granted), and is sentenced to six years of imprisonment. He is locked up in jail for the last one month currently on account of this sentence.
Leaving my brother alone after the pardon was granted was the biggest mistake or so to say blunder, committed by the MEA. The MEA, on account of its inaction, is responsible for the all the pain and suffering which my brother is undergoing. As already intimated Sir, my brother Cdr Purnendu Tiwary is a decorated naval officer and thus being in jail is a severe ignominy he is subjected to, without any fault of his. My ailing brother is 65 years of age with severe medical conditions, like Hypertension, Diabetes and PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) triggered by prolonged solitary confinement. Thus the jail sentencing has become life threatening for him.
It is an irony that despite such injustice being meted out to their decorated Naval officer ( though retired), no visible action has been initiated by the Naval Top brass of India to cause release of their retired officer , Cdr Purnendu Tiwary , from Doha jail. This is a very serious matter and I request and expect the Naval fraternity (both retired and serving) to kindly take up his cause seriously. The retired and ailing Naval veteran cdr Purnendu Tiwary cannot be allowed to languish in jail for no fault of his.
My humble request to Chief of Naval Staff to kindly take cognizance of the matter as your officers, whether serving or retired, are pride of the nation and their dignity & honour needs to be preserved at all costs. My brother Cdr Purnendu Tiwary has been bearing the ignominy of going to jail besides his mental & physical sufferings for no fault of his as already explained umpteen number of times.
Similarly, the MEA who have conferred on him, President's NRI award, should try to bring him back to India at the earliest to keep the glory & sanctity of President's award, to say the least.
Lastly, I being sister of Cdr Purnendu Tiwary again reiterate my humble request, with folded hands to our Hon'ble P.M. of India and Hon'ble EAM, to kindly intervene in the case and act urgently to bring back my brother, the left out (8th Navy veteran) Cdr Purnendu Tiwary, back to India at the earliest, as also claimed by His Excellency our Hon'ble PM please. 🙏🙏

It's time to give that impetus to take the case to its logical conclusion with GOI not loosing sight & ensure his return to🇮🇳before the Emir of Qatar visits🇮🇳in Feb 25.Cdr Tiwary has aided to India's soft power foot print in the middle east especially Qatar. @DrSJaishankar 1/2
Significance may be little understood by our countrymen & diaspora in the GCC alike. It’s imprint gave a tectonic shift in appreciation of Indianism to the usual colonial outlook that was never done or achieved.The rightful acknowledgement was the recognition with PBA in 2019.2/2
@YeshiSeli Cmdr. Purnendu Tiwari, a visionary leader and national asset, remains unjustly under a travel ban in Qatar. The apathy of the naval fraternity and the MEA is unacceptable. The govt must act decisively to force Qatar to lift the ban and bring him home immediately! @DrSJaishankar
It's been 280 days that the seven Navy Veterans have returned home. But the wait for Cdr Purnendu Tiwary continues unabated.
A mother's wait remains inexplicable & concerted efforts ought to be made by GoI to get him back to India, our first Pravasi Bharti Awardee from Qatar.
@narendramodi Hon'ble P.M. is most concerned & advocates for women's well-being, but despite my numerous pleas to Hon'ble P.M @PMOIndia My brother Cdr Purnendu Tiwary is yet to return to India from Doha (Qatar) while his 7 other peers returned to India on 12th February itself

It's ironic that the family who led the entire nation to raise their voices for the release of all eight Navy veterans now finds themselves alone, as their own remains behind while the other seven have returned. It's high time these families, the government, and veterans wake up!
Humbly Request kind Intervention of Hon'ble Prime Minister of India , His Highness Emir of Qatar & Hon'ble EAM of India for kindly facilitating immediate return of 8th Navy Veteran Cdr Purnendu Tiwary though released but still in Doha for nearly now five months.
@IndEmbDoha
@Dir_Education complete mismanagement at NTA Exam Center Sector 64 NOIDA. clueless invigilators extreme chaos in classes during CUET exam, teachers fighting among themselves & creating a ruckus exam papers given late and taken early. Is this how we are moving towards NEP
@YeshiSeli The seven naval veterans back in India must reach out to PM and the EAM requesting them to look into the matter again… after all Mr Tiwari has been their senior…@narendramodi@DrSJaishankar@DrMeetuBhargava
