Rob Gronkowski and Julian Edelman on their time playing in Boston/New England with the #Patriots (via @gameswithnames):
Gronk: "It was fun dude. I would not change a thing. I would not change a thing."
Edelman: "That was a great city to play for. That was the best... As far as being a pro sport town. We watched the Red Sox win a World Series, we watched the Bruins win a [Stanley] Cup... I was there early when the Celtics did it."
Gronk: "Bro I would not change a thing, man. It was the best times of our life. And the best part about it was the whole city of Boston, the whole area of New England, hands down the best sports town in, I would say the whole world."
This might be the worst throw I’ve ever seen. Why was he falling backwards as he threw? Why does he always square his shoulders to the play before he throws? I honestly think I could’ve completed this pass
🚨🚨🚨Holy shit: A mom stood up at her school board meeting and delivered an AMAZING speech expressing frustration that conservative extremists were interfering with her child’s education.
Adrienne Martin of Granbury, Texas, boldly confronted the school board and held nothing back:
Here is what Adrienne Martin told her school board: 👇
"I do not want random people with no education background or experience determining what books my child can read, what curriculum they learn, and what clubs they can join.
Just because you can get up at every meeting and rant and rave does not give you authority over my child's education.
Your personal religious beliefs- people in this room and on this board- should not be affecting my child's education either. Our schools are not to be used for personal political agendas.
And our children are here for education, not religious indoctrination.
I implore the board to put an end to trying to appease these extremists. Focus on retaining staff, providing excellent public education, and a safe and welcoming learning space for all students.
The speakers speaking about what great Christians they are... Great! Go tell your pastor. Our schools are not your church.
Thank you."
🔥🔥🔥
Thank you to this BRAVE mom for speaking out!
#FlaPanthers Eric Staal post-game, when told there is photographic evidence of him wearing a pride jersey in Montreal:
“I haven’t before. I never have. … I haven’t worn a pride jersey before.”
(Staal wore No. 21 with the Canadiens during the 2020-21 season.)
Religion equals hate. “Christian beliefs” are just an excuse to be a bigot. The main reason I’m not religious is because these Bible thumpers are fucking assholes. They love to preach the good word but rarely back it up with their actions.
