Quem assistiu ao Em Pauta de ontem (27/07) na GloboNews deve ter ficado horrorizado com a descrição da apresentadora sobre a vacilação do governo em receber Zelensky. Ela divulgou a falsa versão petista sobre o desencontro do líder ucraniano com Lula no G7 e ainda justificou a "neutralidade" do Itamaraty (se recebesse Zelensky, teria que fazer o mesmo com Putin), dizendo, como se fosse verdade, que a América Latina tem uma visão diferente sobre o conflito (sem mencionar que quem mais discorda, já não se diga, do apoio à resistência ucraniana, mas pelo menos da ajuda humanitária a um país barbaramente invadido, são as ditaduras de Cuba, da Venezuela e da Nicarágua, aliadas do ditador russo). Não sei o que a emissora fará, no futuro, para se recuperar desse tipo de "jornalismo", que mais parece assessoria de imprensa do governo.

Fui um crítico contumaz do lavajatismo (o movimento que instrumentalizou a operação Lava Jato com objetivos políticos), sobretudo pela compreensão pedestre de democracia de seus agentes. Mas não posso concordar com a falsificação em curso, que tenta reescrever a história para dizer que seus acusados e condenados (alguns depois descondenados) não cometeram crime algum e que tudo não passou de armação dos neofascistas a serviço dos americanos para destruir Lula, a direção do PT e as grandes empresas brasileiras. Não! Houve crime, houve confissão, houve dinheiro devolvido e, mais grave, houve um tipo inédito de corrupção - sistêmica, coordenada centralizadamente - com objetivos políticos estratégicos de poder.

On Monday, @claireheadley and I met with LAPD Chief Michel Moore, several LAPD officials, and an LA City Attorney.

I wanted to thank those of you who have continued to support our efforts to hold law enforcement agencies accountable for their inappropriate relationships with Scientology.

In particular, I want to thank those who took the time to email the LA Police Commission. The pressure you applied helped to get this meeting on the books; I am very grateful.

I want to make something clear, while I have been talking about the LAPD a great deal lately, Scientology's policies about law enforcement aren't explicitly written about the LAPD or any single law enforcement agency for that matter. They are global policies that command Scientologists to curry favor with law enforcement while simultaneously commanding them to threaten Scientologists with total ruin if they dare to report crimes committed against them by other Scientologists.

Working with the LAPD is just one step of a larger plan to hold Scientology and David Miscavige accountable, which is the only way the truth about the many crimes Scientology has covered up over the past seven decades will begin to emerge.

1. It's been nearly one month since I respectfully requested a meeting with Los Angeles Police Chief Michel Moore. I have not even received a form letter in response to my request.

As you can see, I tweeted this request and shared it on other platforms. The request was sent to Chief Moore's Chief of Staff, Deputy Chief Daniel Randolph. It was sent directly to Chief Moore's private @LAPDHQ email address. It was also sent to Chief Moore's director of scheduling.

This is all after we learned that @LAPDChiefMoore met with Scientology Lawyer Vicki Podberesky.

As I noted below, I also learned that Chief Moore has met with Scientology officials and civilian Scientologists both as Chief and Assistant Chief.

Scientology gets to have meetings with the Chief, but a representative for the thousands of survivors of Scientology doesn't.
