@PhilliesBell It's amazing that playing basically .375 ball for a month, and this team is still 6 up vs. the ATL. If they can go on a run of series wins in August, they may not repeat the painful fade of the '95 Team that was 20 over in June, only to be well under .500 by season's end
@BBGreatMoments It's always ok. Prime reason: Baseball is the one sport you can't run the clock out. So long as you have strike left, even a lopsided game isn't over. Besides - go out and earn it. Teddy Ballgame didn't sit out his last game/series to preserve .400 (rounded). On the line-no fear
@FlyingMangoDS @BBGreatMoments Correct. Remember Strahan's last sack of his record season. Favre rolled over. I much prefer the Ted Williams way: He could have stayed out for bis last game and claimed the .400 average. Instead he went out played the game regardless of the risk of losing l. 406 the righrlt way
@Fuzzy_Reasoning@ThatEricAlper Commodore Vic 20: 3k of RAM and a cartridge that could expand it to 6. Those tapes drives worked well for the 100 or 200 line games like Lemonade and Trucker. Made the C64 games look like a 20 yr tech jump!
@TalkinBaseball_@See_Hendo Von Hayes woulda been funny. And he should have said thr Flyin Hawaiian in Center. Then go deep cut with Glenn Wilson in right or Jim Eisenreich
