Corey Seager has played through multiple tears & breaks during his Rangers tenure, especially during critical moments like the entire 2023 postseason when it hurt to even swing.
You see that he's out or getting a day off or scratched etc, but you don't see the stuff he does play through or the hours of work he spends to try and do so.
I get people want to see him in the lineup but the idea he's not tough or doesn't care is absurd.
Tons of respect for the work you’ve done covering a sport that has experienced its own evolution. Take the forward pass for instance. The QB specifically became glorified & of paramount importance because of that evolution. How about the spread offense? I don’t hear anyone clamoring for “60 minutes of ground and pound” these days. If there are people BEGGING for the wishbone & punts on
4th & 1 these days I don’t hear em’. Gloves that are stickier than the spider tack baseball players use aren’t part of the game so receivers can hold a block downfield alongside a fullback that no longer exists. Michael Vick came along & revolutionized the way the QB position was played & defended. Just like Jacob Misiorowski is throwing 106MPH & making it that much tougher to get a bunt down against him. Games change whether we like it or not. I think we can both agree that executing fundamentals of the games is foundational to success. Players will evolve to perform in ways that lead to trends of compensation. Nobody is paying for sac bunts but they pay for HR’s. Nobody is paying a QB to hand it of 35 times but an Air Raider gets breaded up before he ever takes an NFL snap. The game changes.
BREAKING: LeBron James will continue his NBA career for the 2026-27 season and has informed the Los Angeles Lakers that the franchise can move on without him because he will play elsewhere, Klutch Sports CEO Rich Paul tells ESPN.
Imagine watching the first season of Friday Night Lights in 2006 and being told that the guy who plays Landry will be the only one that becomes a movie star
Wyatt Langford, who has played only 40 games this season, is now fourth among primary AL left fielders in fWAR.
He’s slashed .317/.371/.634 with 7 home runs since he returned from the injured list earlier this month.

Girl:
Me: so Jason Robertson just turned down 120 million
Girl: uhmm.. okay..
Me: yeah he could stay in Dallas. We don’t know. He could leave too
Girl: .. sure
Me: it’s like if he leaves Dallas, he won’t be there because he’ll be somewhere else
Girl:
Me: it’s not out there yet what he’s gonna do
Girl: ok
Me: if he does stay in Dallas it would mean he won’t be going anywhere else
Girl: that’s crazy.. want to sleep over?
Me: both sides are still talking
Girl: do you want to come over
Me: he could be in Dallas but ultimately it depends if he doesn’t leave
