If this is all true, and the Heron House (No. 10 North) rental application really was submitted on 11 May 2026, just three days before Joshua Simons resigned as Makerfield MP, it suggests this whole Andy Burnham Labour coup was being planned months in advance.
The building was allegedly already being prepared for Burnham to take over and move the Prime Minister's office to Manchester.
This is pretty incredible if accurate.
At that point, Andy Burnham was still Mayor of Manchester, Makerfield still had an MP in Joshua Simons, and Labour still had a Prime Minister in Keir Starmer.
The whole sequence feels incredibly murky, with plenty of political backstabbing involved. If this timeline is correct, it would also help explain why Burnham appears to have sidelined talented MPs seen as loyal to Starmer, including Darren Jones and Mike Tapp.
Perhaps start answering some questions from serious journalists. Like how did you pay for No. 10 north and when was that office procured. The refit , the logo the security. When was that arranged? Because it canβt have been the past week! Taxpayers have been taken for fools.
π¨ WHY did Manchester City Council approve a lease for the exact Heron House suite now used as No.10 North on 10th June 2026?
Andy Burnham wasnβt even an MP until the Makerfield by-election on 18th June.
He didnβt become Prime Minister until 20th July.
So why was the temporary headquarters for βNo.10 Northβ being signed off weeks before he was even elected to Parliament?
How does a serving Mayor βknowβ heβs about to win a by-election, get parachuted into the leadership, and be crowned PM within weeks β unless the entire sequence was already locked in?
If youβre not asking these questions, youβre choosing not to see it:
The by-election was engineered.
The MPs who voted him in were already aligned.
The system was primed and ready.
Burnham wasnβt elected into No.10. He was placed.

@MagsSnik So the taxpayer is expected to pay for two lots of security, extra travel on private jets to and from Westminster and two office staffing costs to cover this sham? They were so quick to call the Tories grifters!
Labour could never be so hypocritical.
Based on discussions with my neighbours and what Iβve seen online - Facebook/tiktok/instagram/X nobody will be taking any notice of this hosepipe ban. We have had enough of being taken for mugs! @thameswater@sewateruk#hosepipeban
Nothing says putting the right values in politics more than installing yourself as leader with a few thousand votes from Makerfield. Totally hypocritical when you were the first to complain about the installed Tory leaders.
No hope, more sleaze and incompetence. 400+ MPs and nobody fit for the job
@Sonos The web interface is a complete disaster! Takes forever to group and ungroup a device.
Realistically I could get Claude or Codex to build a native Sonos mac client app in a day. Why's it so hard for you guys!
