As a protestant I agree that the Catholic Church has created rules beyond what scripture requires. Also as a protestant I will admit that we often tend to downplay what counts as confessing sins and I admire the accountability requirement that Catholics have in their practice. There's a tension at least for me. Nuance...
@LynAldenContact@Loriss65 Lyn has a point. Either Bitcoin is indeed engineered to be the hardest money ever or it's flawed. If it's flawed then it will/should die.
Not possible, we have sin in our hearts. But 2 thoughts (both unpopular): 1) Represent Jesus the best we can. We will fall short but loving God and loving others can help. Only Christ will truly restore a broken world. 2) Have sound money backed by absolute digital scarcity. When you can print money it enables all sorts of poor decisions and bails out those who should face consequences. Basing it on something that is engineered to not allow debasing, easily verifiable, and can be used to even transact when 2 nations distrust each other is incredibly powerful. Senator Lummis has proposed bills to help develop this and Tim Scott is sitting as the chair of the committee that can start the process. Maybe look into that and be a voice to them.
Sincerely,
Someone from your district
@hyde62056@MarcDufresne4@iraqschristians@Aelthemplaer Those who are willing to take up their cross and follow Him. Those who are able to transcend the 2-party system thinking in US politics and see what the gospel actually says.
