There’s an orphanage in Cambodia connected to our church who are praying for me and baby girl Brooklyn… I have something in common with these orphans— their trust in an Almighty God who answers prayers 🥺
The Asian-American community is too often rendered invisible in the larger racial & socio-political conversation in this country; too often categorized as perpetual foreigners whose suffering can be easily glossed over.
We all must cry out for these image bearers of God.

It’s quite possible to say “thank you” 50x a day but not have a life marked by gratitude.
Gratitude is about discerning the gifts that are present before us. It also entails the steadfast refusal to order one’s life around:
• comparing
• complaining
• coveting
Human is human. Sometimes people don’t live up to the expectations we have of them. True love for one another means to allow space to respond with grace & servitude to another.
