McGregor was 5 years from his last fight, cycled off of roid use, horrible legal issues, and coming back from a brutal injury.
Sick of hearing shit about “rigged” UFC fights. The reality is this injury was not unlikely. Very disappointing? Yes. Rigged? No.
Too many people speaking nonsense about #UFC329 saying it was fixed, questioning McGregor’s high kick to start the fight.
This man has started SO MANY of his fights with a high kick.
The reality: he should have never came back to the UFC…Show more.
Unpopular Opinion:
Mark Pope is receiving an unfair level of criticism & a majority of Kentucky’s issues have nothing to do with Pope.
In year 1 his entire backcourt dealt with injuries. Despite that he still beat 8 top-15 teams & made the Sweet 16.
In Year 2 he lost his starting center & starting point guard to season ending injuries. Still, Pope went 7-3 in games decided by 2 possessions or fewer & beat 5 top-25 teams.
The only fair criticism should be his inability to land premier players in the portal this offseason. However, there is a different standard & expectation at Kentucky that Pope has yet to meet. I still would give him 2 more years & if he falls short of a Final Four then it’s fair to move on.
When this man walks into Rupp next Saturday, I know some of y’all won’t like this, but if you boo, you’re a piece of shit. He’ll be hanging in the rafters at Rupp one day—show some respect. Don’t get me wrong, though, I’m glad he’s gone.

TRENDING: Sydney Sweeney is a huge Lamont Butler fan.
“I really love watching Lamont (Butler) play. Dropping 33 points while going 10-for-10 from the field and 6-for-6 from three? His tenacity on defense, that was special. He’s a true leader for this team.”
Sydney knows ball.
