This person showed that working 40 hours a week could afford their rent. If you assume they work 2 x 40 weeks per month, they make over 1280 a month, comfortably living.

Rent is monthly, this person would have been making over $600 a month and with probably no internet bill (didn't exist or was just coming out) maybe a basic phone bill, maybe a tv bill, and maybe a cheap car insurance bill. They were clearly able to afford all of it on $8.

I on other hand will continue to eat steak, ribs, fresh veggies, spices of every variety. You have it backwards, they are not liberated but caged to their food

@justalexoki It's caged animal syndrome. I personally know 4 people in my close vacinity who have AFRID (avoidant food restrictive intake disorder) I personally think these people are experiencing the equivalent of what lions/whales/dolphins experience in captivity. It alters their brains

@sapphyreblayze @angeertsen A lot of that statistic is because of drug addicts. Simply don't be a drug addicted homeless person. Even the ultra poor here get basic health insurance. Hell even if you don't have ANY insurance, you can walk straight into the emergency room and they have to treat you.
