Big difference between smart money and market manipulators.

Market manipulators hype up an asset while funding a trend. Once retail gets involved, they'll cut the funding and dump the asset at some point, transferring wealth from retail to the manipulators.

Smart money, on the other hand, invests in ideas with real potential, given they are early backers of future trends.

Now a normal person could make money from the hype market manipulators create, but they have to be pretty damn careful with entry and exit strategies, because the rug could get pulled at any time.

It’s always smarter to go for the long term play, even if the ROI takes longer to accrue.

Something similar is happening in web3 right now with popular chains vs @HelloTelos.

People are chasing the hype, pouring money into chains that are basically playing shitcoin roulette, the web3 version of a casino. Most end up losing, while only a few walk away with a positive PnL.

It's different in Telos' case, however.
