The Jacob Zuma Foundation seeks to offer young minds discipline and the ability to think strategically through it's Chess initiatives with schools across KZN. Mr Jacob G Zuma, has always ensured his participation in tournaments with the young chess players.

The Jacob Zuma Foundation, together with various partnerships, created Hydroponic Gardens in Nkandla and Benoni. Two more gardens were opened in Ugu district to benefit communities affected by the Shobashobane Massacre.
