On January 6, I got ready to defend my colleagues and texted my wife: “Whatever happens, I love you.”
Ted Cruz was hiding in a supply closet. If you summon a mob to overturn a free and fair election, you should lose your job. This election is his accountability.

Some early reporting on today's hearing. IMHO, technical issues are not an excuse for continuing with an unconstitutional ballot, @TammyMurphyNJ.
You know you are using your husband's influence to buy the senate seat. Do the right thing.
This is what democracy looks like. This is also why #NepoTammy is afraid of a fair and open primary with block ballots and no line.
@TammyforNJ, listen to the people and bow out, for democracy’s sake and the Murphy legacy. Your name is 💩
@AndyKimNJ has won the Morris County Democratic convention in a landslide, 85%! 540/597 eligible delegates voted on a secret online ballot (90.5% turnout).
@AndyKimNJ received 457 votes, @TammyMurphyNJ at 57, @Patricia4NJ got 26.
So @GovMurphy ought to be the first to speak out against this kind of abuse of power inside the New Jersey Democratic Party.
Instead he's the one engineering it, because he wants @TammyMurphyNJ to be NJ's next senator. The conflict of interest here is appalling.
Shame on him.
Across Morris County we’ve been talking about the stronger democracy we can build in NJ. One focused on the people’s voice first and issues impacting them most.
I hope delegates at tomorrow’s convention will help us take another step forward in making change happen for NJ!
This is not what democracy looks like. It’s plain wrong to deny @Patricia4NJ from entering a Camden Dem committee meeting to determine Senate endorsements. She’s been a leader on vital issues and deserves to have her voice heard. I also asked to join the meeting and was denied. Making endorsements without a fair process undermines our democracy. Democrats need to do better.
From the letter:
"...we will not tolerate the use of our name in political materials without the explicit consent and endorsement of our membership. We have sent a notice to this effect to the @TammyMurphyNJ for US Senate Campaign."
Honestly, an amateur move by the campaign.
