After around 20 years of smoking cigarettes I decided to give them up for my long term health. Smoked my final one last Saturday evening, went cold turkey, and have been nicotine and smoke free ever since. The first two days were awful, but its getting more manageable every day.
Tonight as Tennessee House Republicans push forward to schedule vote on our expulsion, Speaker Sexton orders the gallery cleared as crowd chants “fascists.”
Media forced out at as well.
Then, Rep. Lafferty (R-Knox) pushes me and grabs my phone.
This is a sad day for Tennessee.
I'm so happy the game has finally been called off. Football quit mattering a good while ago. Taking the field only would have made an awful situation worse.
Imagine a coworker/friend of yours needed CPR for 9 minutes in your office and then after your boss was like - take 5 minutes, everyone. and then get back to work.
That's basically what the NFL just tried to do. Total garbage.
You can't send these guys back on the field. They will, I'm sure, but this is genuinely bad enough to call this off. Some things are more important. I just hope Hamlin is okay.
If any of my friends here know any brilliant tricks for getting rid of vertigo please let me know. I ended up in the ER last Thursday with the whole world spinning. Doc fixed up the accompanying nausea/dehydration and helped some with the vertigo, but the world still spins.
@EarlMontclair I followed my 724 last week with 665 this week and my team got curb stomped again. We bowled 1025 scratch the second game to squeak out one point. Our opponents were +325 for the night. It's insane out here right now.
