In today’s debate on the Middle East Conflict I asked the Minister for the Foreign Office @FCDOGovUK Andrew Mitchell MP to clarify the Government’s position with regards to the recognition of a Palestinian State. It is absolutely crucial for🇬🇧Gov to set out clearly its position.

Last week we shared news of the commissioning of a new chaplain and six new archdeaconry leads for Anna Chaplaincy to further support this vital ministry with older people in the Diocese. Now you can meet them. 👇👇 Read more here: https://t.co/EonEqqT0ov @brfonline
I drafted something earlier in the summer about (Anglo-Catholic) priestly responses to parochial change and diocesan strategies. I didn't do anything with it at the time, but as responses to "the picture" are raising much the same issues, here goes https://t.co/uccNm1WBI0

Had to make an important call today with the dawning realisation that my ear was becoming increasingly wet because my daughter had yet again been licking the telephone .
Yesterday I closed up the church, took all the books and vestments I needed, emptied the bins and finally consumed the reserved sacrament. Maundy Thursday come early. A deep silence at the heart of the building. Devastating.
Sad and strange times with no public worship being offered. However it is a good prompt to do all the things we should have been doing already to make our worship a accessible to those who are not able to join us on a Sunday.
Great to be at St. Paul's celebrating the work of the night shelters across London. The Bishop of Edmonton reminded us of the charge in Jeremiah 'seek the welfare of the city... and pray to the Lord on its behalf, for in its welfare you will find your welfare'
Fantastic service for Candlemas today. The choir excelled themselves, the sermon was spot on. All I had to do was read the words on the page and enjoy the fruits of everyone hard work.
Today when the wise men were introduced to the crib scene, and whilst I was leading the solemn prayers to mark the moment. Caspar decided to topple over and take out a sheep who in turn took out the infant Jesus. Not quite what the gospels imagined.
Great to meet with the staff at the Parish School today to talk over the different ways we can shape our assemblies this term to explore the breadth and depth of God's love. Slightly more perturbed by the revelation that there is nothing more my LLM loves than a school dinner.
