BREAKING: New polling reveals that Kamala Harris is leading Donald Trump 42% to 38% in the wake of Joe Biden's decision to step aside and endorse her for president.

But it gets even better...

The Reuters/Ipsos poll in question shows a bump for Harris, who was tied with Trump at 44% in a July 15-16 poll. Trump was leading by a single percentage point in a July 1-2.

In other words, Harris is quickly pulling ahead — and that margin will only grow as voters get a good look at a youthful, visionary campaign contrasted against Trump's aging, hateful rhetoric.

The same survey found that 8% of voters prefer RFK Jr. but he has yet to qualify on the ballot in many states ahead of the election.

The poll also discovered that 57% of registered voters agree that Harris at age 59 is "mentally sharp and able to deal with challenges" while only 49% believe that about Trump.
