#WATCH | Additional DCP South East Delhi, Aishwarya Sharma says, "A complaint was received from a man, who, after meeting a woman named Sherry through a dating app called 3F, was drugged, robbed of approximately Rs 7,00,000, and abducted by her associates in a car. Upon investigation, a police team tracked down a vehicle number through CCTV footage, leading them to an accused named Rishabh and recovered the car from him. Through further interrogation, we arrested 3 additional accused from Malviya Nagar. We also seized another car used in the crime. It was revealed that one of the arrested accused Jenny, had created a fake profile named Sherry on the dating app to lure men under the pretence of dates, drug them, and rob them with her accomplices. Although she had committed similar crimes before, no official complaints had been filed, and the 5 arrested accused had no prior recorded involvement in such activities..."

#WATCH | Delhi: Additional DCP South East Delhi, Aishwarya Sharma says, "We received a complaint on February 13 that some people visited the residence of two senior citizens, RC Sabharwal and Usha Sabharwal's, on the 11th, and pretended to be from ED. They searched the house and started taking photos after placing all the valuables, cash, and jewellery on a table. Usha Sabharwal called up her grandson Kunal, who is a lawyer for ED. Upon this, those people got scared and fled with Rs 2-3 lakhs. We formed a special team for this case, and after a technical investigation and examining the CCTV footage, we found a vehicle. Further investigation revealed that their maid Rekha was also involved in the raid. During the investigation, we recovered 6-7 luxury watches of the couple from Rekha's house. From the main conspirator, Pooja Rajput, we recovered a deputy commandant's uniform, a fake deputy commandant ID, a fake wireless box, an expired pistol, and jewellery. We have arrested both the accused. Three more people were involved in the raid, and the search for them continues... This case is from New Friends Colony."

*🚨Report regarding SLC incident*🚨

The viral claim against ASI Virender is misleading

🛎️📢On 13.09.2025 at around 9:30 AM a PCR call was received regarding sale of illicit liquor/consumption by some individuals and the same was marked to ASI Virender for necesaary action.

◼️Thereafter the police staff reached the spot and they seized 20 quarters and 20 bottles of illicit liquor from the said shops.

◼️Thereafter approximatly 2 hours later a Subsequent PCR call was received in the police station by a woman against ASI Virender, apparently to pressurize him not to take legal action on the previous PCR Calls.

◼️ Thereafter North-east community members gathere at the Police Station demanding immediate action against the ASI.

◼️Seeing the gravity of the situation DCP/SED and ACP Lajpat Nagar reached the spot and pacified the north east crowd.
The crowd was assured of fair and transparent enquiry into the incident and appropriate disciplinary action.

◼️Soon after this, appropriate disciplinary action was taken against the police personnel and he was transferred to district line with immediate effect.

Further detailed enquiry into this incident is being done by PG cell of South East District.

We appeal: kindly avoid sharing unverified claims. Law will take its fair course.

Team of @DCPSouthDelhi traced over 400 lost & stolen mobile phones using the CEIR and Sanchar Saathi portals of the Government of India.

Through IMEI-based tracking & blocking system, stolen & lost phones were located, rendering them useless for thieves.

In the first lot, 101 recovered phones were handed over to their rightful owners at a function in the DCP Office, including a device that had been reported missing nearly five years ago.

Amidst all the negative reporting about police, this one filled me with joy. WE must celebrate real life heroes like constable Kartar Singh of Malviya nagar @CPDelhi station. He should be the brand ambassador of Delhi Police. At 4 am he spotted 3 men on a bike with masks carrying bag packs. Gave a chase for 7 kms in 35 min despite being thrown at with burglary implements etc. Later, he crashed his bike against theirs, was attacked and finally shot at one's leg. Then asked people around to help him and took the injured to hospital. What a guy! He deserves out of turn promotion for putting his life on the line of duty against hardened criminals burglars who had all the implements with them. Thanks @sakshichand08 @IndianExpress for publishing this tale about a real hero.
