I got one of the most meaningful calls at work today.
Two years ago, a father from Kelowna reached out.
His son was in a shelter in Surrey, struggling with addiction and wanting out.
I met him, got him into detox, and then drove him to treatment in Vancouver.

We've stayed in touch

Today he called me and said:
“Josh is two years clean.🙌🏼🙌🏼I think about you all the time and how you helped us without asking for anything.
“I want to e-transfer you something for gas… I know you’ll use it to help someone else.”
I told him it wasn’t necessary, but he insisted and sent me $750 dollars 😳

When you show up for someone at their lowest…
you’re not just helping in that moment you could be changing the trajectory of an entire life.
And sometimes…
that ripple comes back around when you least expect it.
Pay it forward.
It doesn’t always come back as money.
But it always comes back as something that matters!
