@edhauschild@malcolmguite Since this interview I've binged Malcolm on podcast and his reading room, bought the hardcover and Kindle and audiobook of Sir Galahad - started listening while getting dinner - it's lovely! 1st audiobook I ever bought.
@EricRSammons@CrisisMag If a person has no way of knowing the faith or it was presented poorly and God knows this is going to be the case in their life then God is placing people in a position where they are destine to be condemned = Calvinism https://t.co/g3RYJvFgJD
@WomanAtTheWell6@ZakariaMDv3 My husband was an MD and able to write his own prescription and it was covered by insurance. He had a bunch leftover so I've been giving them to my dog with thyroid cancer along with fenben - seems to have slowed progression. Try Wellness Co.
@catholicpat Sometimes we seem to be afraid to deep dive into the spiritual life. I learned about the 3 ways of the spiritual life on EWTN in my 20s - that dramatically helped my faith life.
@RosieHill425 Congratulations. In a too busy world sometimes simple is best. Go out to dinner with your husband and maybe renew you vows at church in front of the kids.
@hitpeacebeuponu@Andrewnsnyder I heard on a podcast that many Middle Eastern Muslims are actually very secular /agnostic in belief but go through the motions because it's required - these people are ripe for hearing the Gospel message.
@hitpeacebeuponu@Andrewnsnyder Winning Muslim souls to Christ would be the most peaceful way to solve the mideast crisis. The more I learn about Islam, it pales compared to the beauty of Christianity.
@CDogmatics@LarryChappGS22@carleolson@BishopBarron I did not hear BB say that in the interview. He said the Pope was speaking broadly on unjust war, not particularly to the Iran war. Barron did not say whether the Iran war was just or not. It was a diplomatic answer.
@FiatLuxGenesis@HilarityjaneArt I understand they do not have dogs as pets - considered unclean ( and considering my floors after a rainy day with my three beagles they have a point 😂)but I'd rather mop a floor then not have God's gift of dogs. They will have "working dogs" but not pets.
@MattWalshBlog@ScottMGreer I know a number of families that have an adult child that cannot live totally independent (autism, processing impairment, bipolar, physical disability, mild mental impairment). A family compound would be so helpful as well as to the older members.
@sheilapeachy @car_oline2001 There is a rainbow drawn on the sidewalk - not a rainbow flag. We need to take back the rainbow as a sign of God's covenant with Noah.
@cath_menarion@BishStrickland Yes. When Fr. Hennen was at my parish he gave orthodox homilies and was very reverent. He also provided the Latin Mass for our area. Bearing False witness is a very serious sin. One should be very careful before publicly writing about a brother priest.
@hardy_john63374 @MountainButorac At least two of the four NO parishes in my town did - they did it together from one parish to the other. We are blessed with reverent NO parishes here.
@ByersBarbara@ArchCordileone My parish has had two kneelers in the front center aisle for years and the First Communion kids all kneel. The kneeler helps me get up and down🙂. An entire rail might be helpful for moving along without people bumping into each other.
@ApisBocce@jdflynn Yes. When my husband was sick and barely mobile we had one and a number of times I had to get him settled and then run back out to the car and put the placard up because I forgot. I didn't use it for myself so I wasn't in the habit.
@kalezelden Fortunately I knew it was silly. Later I cam across the mystical side of the faith (Teresa of Avila, John of the Cross) and wondered why I wasn't taught that in high school - so beautiful!
