Fabio, quanto de RAM tem de cada lado? rsync nesse ambiente e com essa questão de risco de crash, usando zfs é a melhor opção mesmo; muito embora o rsync é tradicionalmente sincrono e lento na preparação; dividir em multiplos syncs melhora muito.

Outro ponto da tua lentidão, tem acesso aos parâmetros do zfs2 de destino? dedupe e certas configurações de compactação, metadados e tamanho de bloco no pool podem derrubar tua velocidade de gravação.

O problema cronico do ZFS é RAM; inclusive a recomendação para qualquer implementação de zfs2 é usar ram ecc (correção de erro entre cpu e ram, e não somente a ecc do ddr5). Evite Zil e Arc grande se não tem ECC, e se for um cold storage, não tem porque usar zil. Arc grande tbm compromete rede e compactação.

I had done nothing worthy of a war name. I received one anyway. Somewhere between the cooler and the fence, my old name quietly retired.

By July I had my own chair. No one announced it was mine. It faced the grill. It sank to the left. Anyone else who sat in it was told, "That's Blade's."

The neighbor across the fence, whom I have never formally met, raises his beer to me over the hedge. At the grocery store, a man I do not know nodded at the watermelons and said, "Big weekend, Blade?"

A title travels farther than the man. Mine now shops without me.

Eleven Saturdays. I learned nothing about football. I cut everything they put in front of me. Pineapple. Brisket. A birthday cake, once, which I divided into portions so equal that a woman took a photo "for her sister."

In late August, hard news came from home. The kind that empties a week. I missed a Saturday. I told no one why.

Sunday morning, my phone lit up. Dale.

"Labor Day. Three o'clock. Big one this year. Bring the knife."

No questions. Americans do not knock on the wound. They tell you what to carry and when to arrive.

I went. My chair was where it had always been, sinking, mine. The cooler still said MARINA. The child was taller.

On the table sat the largest melon I have ever seen. The yard went quiet the way a dojo goes quiet, if a dojo smelled like lighter fluid and had a dog in it.

Dale said, "You're up, Blade."

And I understood, in the way you understand a thing you will never say out loud, that no one in this yard had ever waited to see if I deserved the name, because that is not how it is done here, they hand you the name first, and the chair, and the knife, and then they spend the whole summer acting like you had them all along.

I rolled up my sleeves.

Branded NAS nao vale a pena… placas proprietárias e software que envelhece rápido. OWC é umas das mais razoáveis.
Montei um NAS com mac mini e um case OWC de oito discos (se quiser explico a racional por trás, não foi preço e sim logística e outras questões).

O kit mais “estável” é uma mini-atx com adaptadores de sata e nvme e chipset AMD ryzen 5 ou 7 com gpu. Se vai usar para backup, em OpenZFS (TrueNAS), use kits de memoria ECC (a serie prime da asus tem unlock de ecc, na cpu ryzen que suporta ecc); a maior vulnerabilidade dos linux com openzfs é a comunicação de memoria entre cpu e ram; o resto nunca foi problema pro zfs.

Comece com 5 discos em zfs2 e vai adicionando na medida da necessidade. Use os nvme em raid1+0 para transferir volumes grandes; RAM para Arc.
Não use ZIL em SSD se não for para muitas transferências de gravação simultâneas (rede corporativa).

Melhor em tudo menos no mecanismo das teclas, mesmo o Nord piano deixa a desejar, é “sabor piano”. O foco é “performance digital” e são excelentes.

Se quiser melhor ação de teclado e som idêntico ao piano, recomendo um teclado Roland Rd-2000 plugado num mac com o sampler de piano do Hans Zimmer, por exemplo.

Maior ponto aí é o consumo de combustível e o tamanho do tanque, em se tratando de custos. Quanto ao formato de onda, a maioria dos geradores e inversores solares não são senoidais… e isso não é problema se a potencia de consumo é baixa ou se a fonte do equipamento é boa (ou se for nobreak, bem configurado para tolerar variações).

Had the same haunting experience with jams… (specially with flexible materials).
Three observations of what fixed the problem here:

1) mixed materials in the same nozzle (if you extrude tpu then pet-g and tpu again it can accumulate layers of burnt residue inside de head; increasing the pressure to extrude). I avoid using the same head for different materials.

2) bent nozzle tube (sometimes by assembling and fixing the screw, force bends the thin nozzle tube). By design the prusa xl head can make this happen.

3) head cable connectors loose (old model or no screws). Fix the head cable either way screws following the update cable caps. Had many issues with that, even when it appears well connected. A minor disconnect can cause extruder to stop in the wrong z traction

Purge tower will always be a strong constraint to multimaterial; that said, XL is a strong printer, apart from minor issues, usually associated with materials quality, if you keep peace and respect it is a very reliable machine (not cheap neither affordable).

There is always a lot to learn when using an XL: a) don’t mix materials in the same nozzles; b) choose wisely if you are combining materials that don’t like each other; c) large prints deform, design large parts with that in mind!
