THE BLIND LEADING THE LOST: A NATION BETRAYED
"He who accepts evil without protesting against it is really cooperating with it."
– Martin Luther King, Jr.
The halls of Congress and the Senate reek of betrayal. This is no longer just a circus—it is a grand heist, a vicious mockery of the Filipino people's sacrifices. While we break our backs, bleed, and sacrifice for this nation, our so-called leaders are busy looting not just our wealth but our very dignity. Their spectacle of greed and indifference has condemned 119 million Filipinos to despair. They are no leaders—they are traitors. Blind to the needs of the nation, leading us to a chasm of hopelessness.
A RUTHLESS BETRAYAL
Let us not mince words—this is treason. When Congress butchered billions from education, they didn’t just adjust a spreadsheet. They tore futures from the hands of Filipino children. They shattered the dreams of students who saw education as their only escape from the clutches of poverty. They sabotaged a nation’s chance to rise, condemning generations to mediocrity and despair.
Article XIV of our Constitution mandates that education receive the highest budgetary priority. Yet these cowards violated the law with impunity. They robbed the classrooms, burned the books, and locked the gates of learning. Our dismal global ranking in Math, Science, and Reading is no accident. It is a crime. It is murder—the murder of our children’s potential.
HEALTHCARE: THE FIRST CASUALTY
Zero funding for PhilHealth in 2025 is not just negligence—it’s malice. It’s as if Congress has declared war on the poor. How many parents will have to bury their children because they couldn’t afford a doctor? How many breadwinners will be crippled by illness, left to rot because our healthcare system has been gutted?
PhilHealth is not a "reserve fund" for their thieving hands to dip into. It is the lifeblood of millions of Filipinos who cling to it in their most desperate hours. The Universal Health Care Act clearly mandates sin taxes to support PhilHealth. They violated that too. What do they call this? Mismanagement? No, this is state-sanctioned cruelty.
THE FARCE OF AKAP
And now, the "Ayuda sa Kapos ang Kita Program" (AKAP) comes along—a shameless election bribe dressed as charity. P26 billion stolen from education and healthcare, disguised as aid, but in reality, it’s ammunition for the corrupt to cement their power. They will toss these scraps to the people during election season while millions of Filipinos starve, bleed, and suffer.
Do they think we are blind? Do they think we cannot see this brazen, cynical ploy for what it is? Every peso wasted on AKAP is another peso stolen from classrooms, hospitals, and roads. It’s another dagger in the back of the Filipino people.
OUR SILENCE MAKES US COMPLICIT
But perhaps the greatest betrayal is our own. Our silence feeds their arrogance. Why are we not in the streets? Why do we allow these thieves to gut our nation while we watch from the sidelines? Is it fear? Apathy? Exhaustion? Whatever the reason, our passivity emboldens them. Every moment of silence is a betrayal of the nation we claim to love.
Even our Supreme Court, the supposed guardian of justice, stands paralyzed—too terrified of congressional wrath to do their duty. Where is the justice for the oppressed when even the judiciary cowers? When justice is silent, tyranny thrives.
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH
This is no longer about politics—it’s about survival. They are dismantling our nation, brick by brick, peso by stolen peso. And unless we fight back, they will leave nothing behind but ashes and despair.
But there is hope. We, the people, are the true power of this nation. We can end this betrayal. We can demand accountability. We can take back what is rightfully ours—a government that serves, not plunders.
THE TIME TO FIGHT IS NOW
Just sharing..
The Real Mastermind of Political Chaos – Speaker Martin Romualdez’s Relentless Ambition
By OPTIC Politics —Analysis
It all started with a question that dared to challenge the seemingly untouchable—a question posed by SMNI about the staggering P1.8 billion travel allowance of Speaker Martin Romualdez. Instead of transparency and accountability, the response from Congress was swift and ruthless. What followed was not just a series of congressional investigations targeting SMNI, but a chilling display of power meant to silence dissent and tighten Romualdez’s grip on the political landscape.
Congress, under Romualdez’s command, went after SMNI with a vengeance. Anchors Ka Eric and Dr. Lorraine Badoy found themselves detained after being held in contempt—a move designed to send a clear message to anyone daring to question the Speaker. The situation escalated further when an agency under the executive branch, likely acting under congressional pressure, suspended SMNI’s franchise. The network, a voice critical of the Romualdez-Marcos alliance, was effectively silenced.
But the retribution didn’t stop there. Local executives aligned with the Duterte faction were suddenly suspended, and relentless harassment against the Dutertes began, suggesting that Romualdez was making his next move—eliminating any rivals before his 2028 presidential bid. Behind the scenes, whispers from the corridors of power hinted at a larger conspiracy. Sources close to the Marcos-Romualdez inner circle suggest that Romualdez orchestrated the chaos in Davao, particularly the crackdown on Pastor Apollo Quiboloy’s KOJC compound. His motivation? To tighten his control over the President and Interior Secretary Benhur Abalos.
Romualdez, known for his cunning and ruthless ambition, allegedly blackmailed Marcos Jr. and Abalos with threats of congressional investigations. The targets? The President's alleged cocaine use, ties to smuggling operations, corruption, and even the overreach of First Lady Liza Araneta Marcos in executive decisions. These potential scandals hang over the Marcos administration like a sword of Damocles, ready to drop at Romualdez’s command.
The recent legal troubles of Pastor Quiboloy in the United States conveniently factored into Romualdez’s plan. It is suggested that by eliminating Quiboloy, Marcos Jr. could secure some leverage in his own precarious legal situation in the U.S. After all, Imelda Romualdez Marcos, a central figure in the Marcos clan’s legacy, is still entangled in unresolved legal issues in the U.S., further complicating the delicate balance of power. Romualdez’s maneuvering is therefore twofold—protect his family’s interests while solidifying his control over the President.
If one looks closely, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s silence is deafening. Secretary Benhur Abalos has similarly disappeared from the public eye, while PNP Chief General Marbil, widely seen as a Romualdez pawn, appears to be following orders without question. Their silence speaks volumes—it reveals the fear of being dragged into congressional investigations that could lead to impeachment for Marcos Jr. and a slew of criminal and administrative charges against Abalos and Liza Marcos.
All the while, Speaker Martin Romualdez and his wife, Yedda Marie Romualdez, travel the country with smiles plastered on their faces, distributing aid as if they are detached from the turmoil they have sown. It’s a grotesque and cynical display of power and privilege, a calculated effort to distract the public from the reality of who is truly behind the chaos.
Filipinos must see the truth—Romualdez’s presidential ambitions for 2028 are driving this political upheaval. Every move he makes is designed to eliminate rivals, consolidate power, and position himself as the ultimate political force. Marcos Jr. and Abalos are mere pawns in Romualdez’s grand plan. The real threat to Philippine democracy is not just corruption—it is the unchecked ambition of a man who will stop at nothing to secure the highest office in the land.
The time for complacency is over. Filipinos must direct their anger and outrage at the true mastermind of this political crisis. Speaker Martin Romualdez is the real monster lurking in the shadows, pulling the strings and orchestrating the chaos that threatens to tear the nation apart. It’s time to expose him for what he truly is—a power-hungry politician willing to sacrifice the country for his own ambitions.
@kudlitanya@jpsevi@inquirerdotnet May final judgment nabah? All these discussions boil down on the presumption of the innocent until the contrary is proved, hence, tantangapin ng COMELEC ang CoC especially if didn't declared nuisance candidate.

PH warned about being US 'tool,' urged to 'engage China responsibly'
By Franco Jose C. Baroña
June 14, 2024
Manila The Manila Times
MANILA, Philippines — United States intelligence and foreign policy experts said America was just using the Philippines to create the conditions of potential conflict with the Chinaz even if it knew it could not fight and engage China and win.
"[The US] is using [the Philippines]. You are a tool, nothing but a tool. And when the tool ceases to be useful, we will discard you," says one of the experts, Scott Ritter, during an online media briefing early Thursday morning (Manila time) at the US National Press Club in Washington.
"It's high time the Filipino people pressure their government to start sitting down and engaging the Chinese government responsibly...[because] China is not your enemy. China is your neighbor. China is your friend," said Ritter, former US Marine Corps intelligence officer and former United Nations Special Commission weapons inspector.
"But the Filipinos, the Philippine people can reignite this, to relearn it, to use this skill to prevent a war," said Ritter, who was deployed to Subic in 1986 as a platoon commander.
"Grow up and act responsibly. Take control of your own future. America is not here to help you," he added.
Col. Richard Black, a retired military officer, agreed that it was time for the Philippines "to use diplomacy and to attempt to resolve the issue."
"Whatever you do, do not simply become a tool of the United States and be led into an armed conflict that ends up in disaster for the Filipino people. Because if you do, you will break the heart of a whole lot of us who just dearly love the Philippines and, and the people of the islands," said Black, a retired politician who served in the Virginia legislature.
Not a single one of the nine other ASEAN nations are quarrelling wih China and supporting PH's belligerent stance against the superpower. Are we the only country brave and intelligent to do so? They're all puppets of China, even Singapore and Vietnam?
Think.
@mahor_nikko @gmanews HOw would you define as EJK? If you contend that killing is state sponsored, why ANTONIO TRILLANESS is still alive? Ganyan ba ka powerless and administration para hindi ma pin-down and PINAKA tumitirada sa kay Duterte?
Please enlighten me.
@bobitiglao Both of you are my idol.
But I beat Atty. Larry was taken out of context or might be that of misplaced cutting of statement. But most probably he is just sarcastic to some people at the lower middle class priorities for wants over needs.
