Prof. H.S.BHOJYA NAIK has been recommended by Chief Minister Shri Siddaramaih to become a a member of KPSC for the second time, despite him facing several corruption charges and pending enquiry.

➮Prof. H.S.BHOJYA NAIK is facing a complaint before the Karnataka Lokayukta, of alleged corruption and misappropriation of funds pertaining to his tenure as Registrar (Administration & Evaluation)

➮On 16th August, 2023, Siddaramaih recommended the services of Prof. H.S.BHOJYA NAIK to Karnataka Public Service Commission as a member. After facing stiff opposition, due to his previous track record, his name was dropped.

➮Hon'ble Chief Minister Siddaramaih has again recommended the name of Prof. H.S.BHOJYA NAIK to become KPSC member in a communication dated 19th June 2024

➮Investigating Authorities are awaiting government approval to file Chargesheet against Prof. H.S.BHOJYA NAIK.

➮Incidentally, the information regarding the irregularities committed by Prof. H.S.BHOJYA NAIK were given in-detail by the Additional Secretary of Higher Education Department to the Chief Secretary.

➮Prof.Naik has been charged in participating in the illegal cutting of Trees in Lakkavalli Wildlife Zone. In this case, Prof.Naik is Accused No.2.

➮The Chief Minister should answer the citizens of Karnataka as why the Chargesheet is kept pending against Prof.Naik, despite the Higher Education Department consistently following up in this issue.

➮Hon'ble Chief Minister and Hon'ble Minister for Higher Education should answer as why it is not allowing Chargesheet to be filed against Prof.Naik who is facing several corruption charges.

➮Hon'ble Higher Education Minister and Hon'ble Chief Minister should also answer the public as to why his name was recommended again in a communique dated 19th June, 2024.

➮Is Karnataka facing paucity of intellectuals who can become member of KPSC? On whose behest, pressure is CM continuously recommending Prof Naik's name?
