"Grizzly Man" is a documentary directed by Werner Herzog, focusing on the life and tragic end of Timothy Treadwell. Treadwell spent 13 summers living among grizzly bears in Alaska's Katmai National Park, believing he had formed a unique bond with them. He captured his interactions on film, revealing the bears' beauty and the inherent dangers of the wild. Herzog's documentary makes use of Treadwell's own footage to explore his passion for wildlife, his complex character, and the events culminating in his and his girlfriend Amie Huguenard's death by a bear in 2003.
