@filippie509@C_S_Skeptic people will believe what they want to believe if they have a financial incentive to believe it ie they’re shareholders. i don’t think it has a lot to do with lack of critical thinking - people will simply ignore facts if it’s inconvenient or detrimental to the stock
@bgrahamdisciple Sure I don’t know what the headline means by “canceled” but it’s certainly better for the CCP to hold Tesla hostage with the threat of a shut down rather than an actual shut down. That’s pretty much what they’re already doing.
@davidsirota a $200k income for a household in California is solidly middle class in a high cost/high tax state where a modest house is $1M
focus on relief for the middle class and curb deductions for the actual super rich.
@funwithnumberz @thenewsoncnbc @CathieDWood@ARKInvest It’s a small trim. You can trim positions and still be very bullish.
My guess is she’s buying COIN on day 1 tomorrow and given they will likely be fairly correlated she needs to reduce her SQ and PYPL positions a bit to add it.
@funwithnumberz @thenewsoncnbc @CathieDWood@ARKInvest It’s not a pump and dump if the market 1) already knows she’s bullish on the names given her large well known positions in both and 2) the “dump” is just a tiny trim.
The $HIMS situation was an actual PnD imo. This isn’t.
@funwithnumberz @thenewsoncnbc @CathieDWood@ARKInvest i mean she’s a large known holder in both names. her going on TV and talking positively about them doesn’t surprise the market at this point, and a little trimming doesn’t signal any behind the scenes bearishness.
would be different if she bought something new & then went on TV
@funwithnumberz @thenewsoncnbc @CathieDWood@ARKInvest not sure - haven’t seen any clips of her talking about it. just an observation that her buys/sell activity in small caps, especially brand new positions, can move stocks more so than buys/sells in $100B+ market cap names.
@funwithnumberz @thenewsoncnbc @CathieDWood@ARKInvest i don’t think a tiny trim is that meaningful if she still has large positions in both.
she took a position in $HIMS post merger and it pumped big, and then sold out completely just weeks later and down ever since. imo that’s a bit more worthy of criticism than this.
@funwithnumberz @thenewsoncnbc @CathieDWood@ARKInvest is that really a meaningful amount of
selling? she has major positions in both. this is the tiniest of trims on a big up day for both.
