Keir, thank you for all our cooperation, your support, and the joint decisions that have helped make our Europe and our protection of life stronger.
The United Kingdom has been, is, and will remain among the world’s leaders. Here in Ukraine, we deeply value Britain, and every meeting and every conversation we have had has always been filled with real substance.
Thank you for always being in touch, always engaged, and always striving to do what is needed and what will truly help.
I wish the United Kingdom and all British people every success as well as realisation of your national goals. We have confidence in Britain.
Keir, you are always a welcome guest in Ukraine.

Today, my wife & I joined Donald Trump’s hit list. He has directed his Department of Justice to investigate us. They have not found a crime - they are simply trying to find one.
He isn't coming after me because of mean tweets, but because I am considering running for President.
He hates that I consistently call him out. He is simply the most corrupt President in American history.
We have nothing to hide.
Mr. President, come after me. I am not going anywhere.
The country is watching.
We raised it with the previous U.S. Administration, and we continue to discuss it with the current one – namely, providing Ukraine with licenses to produce such systems, Patriot systems. And it's not only about Ukraine – it's to all the Europeans who have such capabilities to start and to produce it massively.
Current Patriot production capacity is simply not enough to meet all the existing and potential threats around the world.
Ukraine has already shown, across many types of weapons and especially in drones, that we can move fast and produce modern systems at scale. So I ask for your support at the political level to help achieve positive decisions on these licenses as well.
From an address to the participants of the NATO–Ukraine Council meeting in Kyiv (5/5).
Unfortunately, the Russian side once again chooses war – everyone heard the response today. Weak response. He simply does not want to end the war.
I think many around the world were disappointed by that response. He does not want to change anything, and he does not want to admit that this war appeals only to him – and to those who are making money off him. They were all smiling very broadly today.
That means Russia must have less money, and there must be more pressure on Russia.
I thank everyone who is helping us. I thank everyone who stands with Ukraine and wants a real peace.

Today is Europe Day.
And Ukraine is marking it not formally or through sloganeering, but fully aware that we are already an inseparable part of the European family. We are defending Ukraine, our independence, our future – and in doing so, we in Ukraine are defending our Europe. A Europe of which Ukraine has been and will remain a part.
From the first days of the full-scale war until today, Europe has stood with Ukraine. And this is not charity – it is a choice made by Europeans: to stand on the same side as the brave and the strong – the Ukrainians who are fighting today for peace and true protection against tyranny, not only for themselves, but for the entire continent. And we will inevitably defend our state, our people, and our right to freely choose our future – a future in Europe.
Glory to Ukraine!
Today, Europe is Hungarian.
We are stronger. More united.
To the people of Hungary - you've done it again.
You have spoken.
You have chosen Europe.
It's a victory for fundamental freedoms.
This week alone, Russia used more than 3,000 strike drones against our cities and communities – a significant portion of them “shaheds” – as well as over 1,450 guided aerial bombs and 40 missiles of various types. The Russians are not dialing back their war effort against our state and our people, and at the same time, they are openly investing in prolonging another war that is driving global destabilization.
Ukraine is being attacked with essentially the same strike drones as those used against countries in the Middle East and the Gulf region. Ballistic weapons are used against us just as cynically as they are against our partners. The destabilization of global markets and the blocking of maritime routes have not left a single country unaffected. We are making our contribution to guaranteeing security.
And it is important that the world does not lose time or opportunities. Clear, decisive, and coordinated efforts are needed to provide real protection for life and to stop wars. We need to build joint and modern defense systems proven in war. We must develop joint production of modern and effective weapons. We must unite our capabilities so that people can live in peace in Europe, the Middle East, and other parts of the world.
Thank you to everyone who is helping us protect lives!
I held a Staff meeting. Our primary focus was the destabilization caused by the war in Iran and the corresponding risks for global markets, the countries of the region, and Ukraine’s closest partners who support us in defending against Russian aggression. The issue is complex – all these developments in the Middle East and the Gulf region directly affect Europe, and Ukraine in particular, as well as other parts of the world, including critically important supplies to Ukraine and the security and well-being of our people.
Reports were delivered by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, the heads of intelligence agencies, the Security Service of Ukraine, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Minister of Defense. We analyzed the main prospects of this war in Iran and the possible consequences if it drags on. We also reviewed in detail requests from states for security support from our side in countering “shahed” drones and other similar challenges.
As of now, there are 11 requests from countries neighboring Iran, European states, and the U.S. There is clear interest in Ukraine’s experience in protecting lives, relevant interceptors, electronic warfare systems, and training. Ukraine is ready to respond positively to requests from those who help us protect the lives of Ukrainians and the independence of Ukraine. Some requests have already been met with concrete decisions and specific support.
The National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, together with the General Staff and the Defense Forces, will determine which additional requests our state can respond to positively, without reducing our own ability to defend ourselves. Ukraine’s priority is clear: the Iranian regime must not gain any advantage over those defending lives. And everyone must work together for tangible stabilization both in the region and in global markets.
Ukraine has long proposed that partners upgrade and strengthen joint capabilities to protect lives. We have spoken about joint defense against drones and missiles, as well as about destroying the relevant production facilities of aggressor regimes – weapons production used in attacks, including those happening now. Each of these regimes has set itself against the world – and this requires a response. Every “shahed” production site is known. The Iranian and Russian regimes support one another, and more information is emerging, including about Russian components in “shaheds” striking Iran’s neighbors.
The world is certainly stronger than anyone trying to destabilize it. We expect our partners to act with sufficient determination. Thank you to everyone who helps!
Today, we are visiting the Donetsk region, our land, and our warriors. The 28th Brigade, the 100th and 24th Separate Mechanized Brigades, and the 36th Marine Brigade. I want to thank all of you—everyone who is defending our state! Druzhkivka, Kramatorsk, Slovyansk, and our other cities.
The Russians are not abandoning the war, and here, in the Donetsk region, they are preparing an offensive for the spring. It is important that our positions are strong. It is important that our brigades are adequately supplied. Our warriors are holding their ground with dignity. And this is how our country, our diplomacy, and our people will hold strong as well.
All of our partners—in the United States, in Europe, and elsewhere—should clearly understand that the friendship between Putin, the Iranian regime, North Korea, Lukashenko, and others serves only one purpose: to allow them to do what they did to our Donbas wherever they want.
Evil must be stopped. Ukrainians here in the Donbas are doing exactly that. Thank you to everyone who stands with Ukraine! Thank you to everyone who fights against Russia and defends life. Glory to our warriors! Glory to Ukraine!
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky spoke to CNN's Clarissa Ward and acknowledged that Ukrainians are exhausted by the conflict, but said giving in to Putin's demands is not an option.

Tonight CNN shared this clip honoring Nancy Pelosi’s service.
A Republican president, introducing a Democratic Speaker.
Respect for the office came before partisanship.
Today marks four years since Russia’s full-scale illegal invasion of Ukraine.
In the face of unimaginable hardship, Ukrainians have shown extraordinary courage and resilience. @ZelenskyyUa, your leadership has inspired the world. We continue to stand with Ukraine in defence of freedom, democracy, sovereignty, and international law. 🇨🇦🇺🇦
Dear President @ZelenskyyUa, it is clear that the future of a democratic and prosperous Ukraine is in the EU.
You have made a lot of progress in your reform efforts under the toughest of circumstances.
Now, Ukraine must keep pushing forward.
Keep strengthening its institutions.
Deepening the rule of law.
And building resilience against destabilising forces.
We will continue to support Ukraine on its accession path.
Last year the United States managed to align itself with Russia and North Korea in voting against a UN motion supporting Ukraine. This year the US merely abstained. I suppose it’s progress. But it’s still truly shameful.
Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Montenegro, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain, United Kingdom, United States — thank you for your support. Light will prevail.
I am grateful to the President of the European Commission and the President of the European Council – Ursula @vonderLeyen and António Costa @eucopresident – that you have come to Ukraine on this day – 4 years since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion. Europe has stood with us throughout these difficult years, and our people trust Europe. They know we are not alone. In many ways all of this is thanks to your personal efforts, your work and friendship – thank you.
I thank all our European friends and partners – everyone in the European Union – who stands on the right side of history and helps Ukraine. And it’s vital that we have started working on the details of a key geopolitical security guarantee for Ukraine and for all of Europe – a clear date for Ukraine’s accession to the EU. The year 2027 is important and doable, so that Putin cannot block our membership for decades.
🇺🇦 🇪🇺
