@adpadua_ As for Brazilians visiting Thailand, it’s gonna remain 90 days visa-free. Those 60 days are countries usually granted 30 days prior. Brazil along with Korea will be given 90 days because we signed bilateral agreement. You give us 90. We give you 90. No worries.

@CookinAsia @stats_feed Our gov can be lenient. But as for Malaysia, 90 days are given bilaterally but for Thailand, we give you visa-free access but Thais are granted the same travel benefits. Let’s see make the EU waive the Schengen travel for Thailand and you get 90 days like in Malaysia

@monindie @ParmarShantun @stats_feed It’s more than generous. Most countries that get 30 days don’t require Thai passport holders tourist visas in advance. Visitors from countries that sign bilateral visa waiver like Korea or Brazil will get 90 days because they allow Thais 90 days.

30 days of visa exemption as opposed to 60 days are more than enough for countries that Thais are not granted reciprocal visa-free access. So in short, instead of putting blame on Royal Thai Gov, blame on your countries to provide Thais with equal access.

93 are mostly countries that don’t have bilateral visa waiver with us. ASEAN countries have visa free agreement—with is for 30 days. Reduction to 30 days according to what Thai citizens are granted is more than reasonable. With Korea or Brazil, it is still 90 days like before.
