1. The "Verified Only" Filter

• trading utility-based tokens (e.g. rwa, infras, ai projects)
• building products
• bounties
• content creation and marketing
• airdrops
• liquidity provision (if structured without riba or impermissible elements)
• other careers in web3 (dev, design, research, ops, etc.)
• participating in icos / presales (if the project itself is halal)
• vc / angel investing (in permissible projects)

important clarification

the topic of halal and haram in web3 is very complex. this industry is highly technical, and many activities can contain hidden elements of:

• riba
• gharar (excessive uncertainty)
• maisir (gambling)
• unethical harm

i am not qualified to issue fatwas, even something that appears permissible can become haram depending on structure and intent.

for example: farming prediction market for their airdrop,
working for/with perpetual DEX or engaging in leverage-based trading etc.

so before investing or participating in anything as a muslim, it’s your responsibility to research and consult people of knowledge.

it is absolutely possible to make good money in this space while trying to stay within halal boundaries.

for example, @73lV_ publicly documented making 300k last year, with a significant portion coming from infofi.

and there are many more people quietly doing well through building, airdrops, trading, content, and value creation.

→ step 1: create an etherscan api key

go to https://t.co/3rvrVSGqUr, create an account and generate an api key. since base explorer (basescan) is powered by Etherscan, the same api key works for verification.

→ step 2: open remix and set the api key for your deployment

go to https://t.co/5S9rMLPOmr, sign in with your github account. then click the ⚙️ settings icon (bottom left) > connected services > turn on etherscan access token then paste your api key inside.

→ step 3: create the contract file

click create on the home page > new file, name it "SimpleStorage.sol", then paste the code below into the editor:

what you just did? you deployed a simple contract that stores the message "gm base" fully onchain on base.
