Lee Kuan Yew refusa net.

JUST IN: First Bank MD, Oluwasegun Alebiosu, received a strange envelope at home. Security collected it from a dispatch rider as it was marked "confidential." Upon opening it, he found two live bullets inside. There was no accompanying letter or clue about who sent it.

This Man Was About to Lose ₦25 Million to a Scam 😭
The man came into the bank to send ₦25 million to a foreign country.
While processing the transaction, my friend who works in the bank asked what the money was for.
The man explained that a foreign company wanted to buy some worthless shares he owned for ₦150 million. The company claimed it was acquiring bankrupt companies and buying up old shares from investors.
The only condition was that he had to pay a processing fee of ₦25 million first.
Immediately, my friend knew it was a scam.
He explained everything to the man and even showed him that the shares were practically worthless.
But the man refused to believe him.
He said he had spoken to a woman who had already paid the fee and received her money.
My friend asked how he got in touch with her.
He said the same company had introduced him to her.
My friend explained that the woman was probably part of the scam, but the man still insisted on sending the money.
At that point, the bank refused to process the transaction and flagged the account.
My friend said he also put notes on the account so that if the man went to another branch, they would refuse the transaction as well.
I hope that guy eventually came to his senses.
Women attack men when they’re happy.
Relationship expert Alison Armstrong says it’s because male happiness and power together feel threatening when a woman doesn’t feel deeply connected.
If he’s pumped about his sports win, big fish, or guys’ trip, and she didn’t create that joy, it can trigger fear. So she diminishes it. “Why are you so happy without me?”
It’s not conscious cruelty. It’s an unconscious reaction to power she doesn’t feel safe with.
“The opposite of love is not hate, it’s indifference. The opposite of happiness is not sadness, it’s fear.”
One time Warren Buffet was invited to Columbia business school to debate Prof. Michael Jensen
The topic, to put it simply, was whether rich people are just lucky or there is a reason they are rich.
Prof Michael Jensen said if you give many people a coin to flip, few of them would flip head 20 times in a row
So, successful investors are just lucky winner of statistical theory.
Warren Buffet responded by saying if the few people who flipped the head 20 times in a row all came from the same exclusive club or group chat
Then you can’t say they got lucky, it’s a testament that there is something they know in that group chat that many others that failed did not know
Warren Buffet said, if you look at the people who are successful, they all know one another
They belong to the same friends group or grew up together in the same community.
This debate happened in 1984 and the lesson is still valid till date.
Rich people are rich because they work together.
Saraki used to be a banker before he went into politics
They’ve been grinding together for years, and now their kids have also created a GC that many of us would never have access to.
It’s a virtuous cycle.
🇺🇸 🇮🇱 Netanyahu just cut Israel loose from the US, and Washington has no way to pull it back.
Malcolm Nance says the US-Israeli military relationship, which used to run like one deeply integrated theater command, has fundamentally broken.
The turning point, in his view, came when Netanyahu publicly declared that an Israeli leader has to be willing to tell America "no."
That decoupling got cemented, Nance argues, when Netanyahu brushed off US efforts to lock down the MOU and escalated operations in Lebanon anyway, diplomatic fallout be damned.
The result is the part that should worry Washington most.
Nance says the US is now left without a single real lever to rein Israel in.

There was a city in France during the Middle Ages where women had a strange habit. Every morning, married women would put a tiny bit of p0i*s0n in the breakfast they made for their husbands. Then, when the men came home in the evening, they were given the antidote to cancel out the p0i*son. This way, the p0i*s0n wouldn’t really hurt them.
There was a strict reason for this. If the husbands stayed away too long and didn’t get the antidote on time, they would start feeling sick with symptoms like nausea, headaches, depression, vomiting, pain, or trouble breathing. The longer they stayed away, the worse they felt. But as soon as they got home and the wife gave them the antidote, they quickly got better.
This trick made the men think that being away from home caused pain and sadness. Because of this, the husbands took their family duties more seriously.
What do you think about this? 😂

Posting this so no other tourist falls victim to this scammer.
This is a popular beach guy called Ibrahim also popularly called Ability by the locals and other beach boys.
Ibrahim is a scammer. He and his crew look for unsuspecting tourists and trick them into paying him for activities or tours. His MO is to pretend like he’s negotiating the best deal with you, offer you a fake receipt and then run away with your money. He stops picking calls, blocks you and anyone else he may have linked you with (usually drivers he connects you with) and will not unblock them until he’s sure you’ve left the country.
They have a whole ring. I’ll post a video with more details on how they operate but avoid them. I heard they even scammed a particular tourist of up to $3,000… the local police won’t help you either.
AVOID THE BEACH BOYS and avoid Ibrahim especially. Repost! You might be saving someone.

The rooster takes one look around and immediately gets to work. By breakfast, he’s been through every hen on the farm.
The farmer whistles. “Well, that was impressive.”
By lunchtime, the rooster has done the whole flock again.
Now the farmer is less impressed and more concerned.
The next morning, the rooster has moved on from the hens to the ducks, the geese, the turkeys, and anything else unfortunate enough to stand still.
Later that day, the farmer looks across the yard and sees the rooster lying flat on his back, legs in the air, completely motionless. Above him, a few vultures are circling.
The farmer walks over, shakes his head, and says, “I told you you’d kill yourself, you filthy little maniac.”
The rooster opens one eye and whispers:
“Keep it down. They’re almost here.”
This is probably the most difficult World Cup to win for any nation, because you’re still going to see a lot of African teams and even Asian teams go toe to toe with the European giants throughout this tournament.
The gap is not what it used to be. African and Asian football have evolved massively over the last two decades. Most of their top players are now developing in elite European leagues, playing at the highest tactical and physical level every week. When countries like Morocco, Japan, Senegal, South Korea, Ivory Coast, Egypt, Algeria, and others arrive at a World Cup, they’re no longer showing up as underdogs hoping for a miracle, they’re coming with players who are already competing against the world’s best every weekend.
The coaching has improved too. Teams are far more organized tactically, better prepared defensively, and much smarter at exploiting weaknesses. Gone are the days when some nations would simply rely on passion and athleticism. Now they’re arriving with detailed game plans, structured pressing systems, defensive blocks, and clear attacking patterns.
What we’ve seen so far in this World Cup is proof of that. European teams are still strong, but they’re not steamrolling opponents the way many people expected. Teams like Morocco drawing Brazil, Japan holding the Netherlands, Cape Verde drawing Spain.
That’s why lifting this World Cup will be incredibly difficult. It won’t just be about beating the traditional powerhouses like Brazil, Argentina, France, England, Germany, or Spain. You’ll also have to navigate dangerous African, Asian, and even CONCACAF sides capable of punishing any mistake.
The era where people could look at the fixture and automatically hand big team
three points is gone. Football is becoming more global, the talent pool is deeper than ever, and this World Cup is showcasing exactly that. Every game feels like a potential upset waiting to happen.
I went to a night club in Mallorca, Spain few years ago.
You know bathrooms in night clubs across UK and Europe usually have people that clean them and they allow them sell biscuits and the likes right there inside the bathroom, this is what the man was doing.
His Spanish sounded like yoruba-spanish, but I did not want to assume.
After I finished peeing, I spoke Yoruba to him, and he confirmed he was. I was like damnnnnn brooo. See how men dey hustle.
They had a bag/cloak room in the bathroom also, I did not have any cash, this man kept my bag and jacket for me for free.
It did not stop there, I went to get fresh air outside the club, then I saw another man, he was selling caps, chains, and the likes. I found out he was yoruba after saying a word to him. We ended up speaking for a moment. I was going to the airport and he told me the right buses to take.
I wrote about this experience in 2023, I will share the tweet in comments. Fear Nigerians o, we're born hustlers, we will work our asses of wherever we find ourselves.
