With Twitter's change in ownership last week, I'm probably in the clear to talk about the most unethical thing I was asked to build while working at Twitter.

Anyone who is departing Twitter or Stripe, please DM me if you would like to work on Elastic Search and broadly on our search infrastructure at GitHub!
I wasn't expecting to have to tweet a similar message so soon, but, well, here we are. For the Stripes impacted: 100% happy to help you with referrals, references, or resume reviews. You will be sorely missed.
To my tweeps: Iโm so sorry. Twitter is being led by a zero-integrity bad faith actor. Iโm super happy to help folks with referrals, references, or advice for anyone looking to move on.
Then, there are people who DID go along with this and still got fired.
I talked with an engineering manager who was at Twitter for 5+ years, and got laid off on Sunday "for cause". They were too exhausted from working over the weekend to talk longer: they first need to sleep.
Congrats to Ethan and team on the launch, and excited to see Betafi grow!
User researchers, PMs, and designers: check out the tool that makes user research a breeze ๐
Whelp folks, the last 22 hours have been a bit of a blur. Itโs been humbling to see folks come out to support the launch of @betafi_co. Canโt wait to crack open VSCode tomorrow morning & get back to building the features our customers and new users want.

A sneak peek of what I and my tremendous team have been working on for the last while: expanding Stripe businesses' access to the largest card brand in the world ๐
Weโre adding support for @UnionPay_Intl card payments for businesses in over 30 countries.
Along with WeChat Pay and Alipay, Stripe businesses can now sell to billions of Chinese customers around the world. ๐ https://t.co/OdLiTEfyzN
